- Chandler finds out that Monica had a bachelorette party with a stripper, even though they promised not to have bachelor/bachelorette parties. Monica feels bad about having had a bachelorette party, so she organizes a bachelor party including a stripper for Chandler. Joey is the only “guest”, because Ross has a date with Mona that night, and Chandler is embarrassed and doesn’t really want to have the party at all. The stripper arrives, but turns out to be a hooker. Rachel takes Phoebe along to dinner with Rachel’s dad, because she is afraid her dad will be really angry when she tells him she’s pregnant. Mr. Green is delighted to hear he will be a grandfather, but freaks out when he finds out that Rachel isn’t getting married - so she just tells him that Ross won’t marry her. Mr. Green goes to see Ross to yell at him - but unfortunately for Ross, Mona is there, too, so they both start yelling at him. Rachel explains everything to her dad and to Mona, who makes up with Ross. Watch more Friends on TBS.

Just another example how Rachel's character got ruined, making her a terrible person, who's throwing others **her closest friends and her love** under the bus at any moment she's facing problems.

That may be just an artifact to many of them in the world. But in India we all call that Indian artifact as "Lord Ganesha" and pray to the Deity to eliminate all hurdles before we start a task to bring greater good to all by executing that task.
Fortunately or Unfortunately this episode / series is not yet so popular in our entire nation, but pushing away that deity's idol with feet would hurt many people sentiments severely.

Ok, so I have not watched Friends episodes entirely, I have binge watched these clips from TBS/Friends/Comedy Central but this is the last one I will ever watch. I for 1)did not like it that they placed a Ganesha idol on a coffee table like that 2)am angered that the developers/writers/directors of this content had the audacity to show her foot pushing the idol to the floor. Shame on you!

Even though I love Friends, I think that the scene where Ross's girlfriend kicks the Lord Ganesha idol should be cut because it will continue to undermine people's faith in the name of humour. However, reading through comments, what hurts even more is how some people comprehend it as everything being fair because it's humorous, which is not right.
U can't even comprehend that it's a joke.. moreover that's an idol who many makes it to earn. Imagine how many more of that same design of idols will be there.. you Indian's can't even take jokes.. never watch family guy if that is the case.. you'll never hear any country or religion complaining unlike you because they know jokes and sarcasm.. unlike you sentimental peeps

The breaking up of Lord Ganesha idol just for the sake of a laughter really portrays the mentality how the makers and the actors of this show feel about the sentiments of Hindu religion. What if in an Indian sit com you find the same thing happening to the statue of Jesus?
The sad thing would be even many Indians and that too Hindus (when I say hindu it includes Sikhs, Jains and Budhs) would let it slide and laugh with idiots on this shameful act.
Hindus will never even think about doing this kind of shameful act and performing it is out of the question and our morals which I guess the makers and actors are lacking.

This is an American show from the 90s. Back then they were not the most culturally educated people. This kind of stuff is not done anymore. . Plus they were also not that great towards Asians and Eastern European cultures. It's not funny, but it's not a big deal anymore either coz it's so long ago that getting angry now would be pointless.

The UA-cam channel has no right to alter anything. Like i said, this is a fairly old property, you can react but a small joke like this won't be deleted or anything simply due to the production pipeline.
The colonise part is accurate, but thing is there's no one to get angry at now. It's like getting angry at people whose ancestors did bad stuff to you, the actual perpetrators are long dead. So now there really isn't anyone who can do something meaningful, they can only apologise. Like how the Brits can't give our stuff back or Americans can't return the land to Natives. Using Jesus statue would be better as makers and actors are mostly from that religion.
It wouldn't have made any sense to use a Jesus statue. The joke is that Ross is claiming the statue is from Calcutta, but once she breaks it, he admits that it's just a copy from an American furniture shop.
@@DECODEDVFX I would guess there are many Christian religious ancient pieces to kick from other countries as well. Jesus origin isn't from USA so it would be exotic as well.
