I read his first book years and years ago, which, of course, was groundbreaking. This conversation was so enlightening and explained a lot of things for me about men as well as about myself. Thank you so much for interviewing him and for his sharing!

Mr.John Grey is one of a kind!!! He is so balanced he is almost a new Species!!!!!!! With out the wisdom and insure he has given us, none of us would be happy in a relationship! Without understanding, estrogen and testosterone, a female role, a male roll the balance between the two none of us would understand a relationship how men act think and not feel and how women because of estrogen has feelings and uses both sides. Oh, there’s just so much to it. He’s so wonderful wonderful wonderful and I think God for this man because all the other people who are involved with the same thing he does are not comparable and never will be he farce, any of our expectations and will always do so because he has studied this exhaustively and for yours, he’s ahead of everyone and his book is correct. He’s from Mars way beyond all other men here I praise God for his existence.

Thank you so much for this ❤ New sub ! I can't get enough of John Gray... he literally saved me from killing myself because I used to be so confused by relationships that I wasn't seeing the point in being here anymore... The thing I personally like the most about using my masculine side to support me, is that it allows me to relax much more, to feel much more secure in life in general, and it gives me space to connect to my feelings deeper and deeper... I have healed emotional trauma that I wasn't able to connect to when I was jobless and freaking out for my survival all the time... I think I have found a balance, my balance... Oh, and i do guided meditations almost every day, i love them ❤

36:02 he's talking about enmeshment trauma. That's a trauma that runs deep, when we had to let go of our own individual preferences and barriers, in order to continue benefiting from our parents's protection. It was done for our survival. It can be healed, fortunately ! With somatic therapies.

As a man I am looking for my girl to do things for me. If she doesn't I feel she does not care about me.

she asked a great question about needy/neediness, it's been 20 minutes and he has not answered the question, he went away on some tangent...Please interrupt him and bring him back to answering the question.

@@Mindsetolympics yeah he needs to be interrupted to be brought back to answer the question and also given time to answer...it's a tricky balance
some interviewers cut him off too soon (annoying) others let him take the tangent of the tangent of the tangent
I have watched every John Gray interview on youtube and he usually repeats himself, so if the interviewer is informed they can avoid either cutting him off to quickly (insufferable) or letting him ramble indefinitely (waste of time)

I thought he did answer it, needing man vs being needy, i understood it

    • @NgG-g2n

@@martinakournikova564 When I wrote this comment it was 20min past the starting point of his reply and he had not answered the question...if he answered 45min later after he started then that's another story.
It's been a while since I watched this video (I'm not watching it again) I think he took an hour to finish the tangents and touch upon the core of the answer to the question and still he didn't go in depth into the core of the answer because he spent a lot of time in irrelevant tangents.

@NgG-g2n please re-listen. Dr. Gray is going in great depth on your question. It is a very deep, complex response & very interesting.

I would also expect from my woman to contribute equally financially, to feel that she cares about our family.

Even there a pieces of truth in this vid , overall there are/is a lot of stereotypes/cliche.
