It’s really disappointing what this guitarist did he ruined his life and his career I still love that people are still making videos about tuyu tho if h good stuff man
i'm pretty new to guitar tones in general, only been playing for about a year and a half, is it possible to get a similar tone with a humbucker coilsplit? i have a yamaha revstar which has this button that cuts about 30% of the bass, so not a true coilsplit per se, but still
I've tried with a coil split hss strat, the results we're not bad but I wasn't satisfied with it either lol. Also you'd have to have enitrely different settings too xd
@@akabex been messing with it for a few hours now, i don't think i can get a passable tuyu tone, is this why people buy 4 or 5 guitars lmao anyway thanks a ton
i’ve been looking for something like this for so long. can you also make a video for songs like if there was an endpoint and being as low as dirt taking what’s important from me
good video, didnt know a matchless was what he tried i always thought it was a marshall jcm amp lol. for overdrives, i think the heir apparent and the compulsive drive are the best on the HX and Helix Native for Jpop and Jrock so id maybe try that out plus they have more parameters u can adjust to taste :)
Hi, always adjust by ear! Use my video as a helping hand, don't copy my settings 1:1. If you want the helix native preset, I can send it to you via discord. Just add me (akabex_), would love to help you!
Hey! When I made this video my tele had different pots, so it may have a different tone than a traditional one. An EQ would probably be the solution though! You can use Pusu's video for reference. Hope this helps!
I have a Les Paul, and I feel like I can achieve most of the jrocks I try to play, but the lighter tone is something I can't achieve on it, would you recommend a Stratocaster or a Telecaster to fulfill this variety of music?
I'd have to say the strat is probably way more versatile than the tele, even though I'm a die hard tele fan lol. If you want to sound exactly like most jpop bands I'd recommend the telecaster but if you want more tones I'd have to go for the strat. You can probably achieve like 80% of a tele tone with a strat.
@@akabex Thanks for the answer, I'll take it into account, I get as much as I can from the Les paul for this genre, but every video I see on UA-cam of JRock is a Telecaster or Stratocaster haha, I feel left out. As I play just for myself, I'm going to hold on and wait for the possibility of getting one of them more affordable in the future. Again, thanks for the tip
@@JonatasHdS while this might not get you all the way there. Use an EQ to get a more single-coil like sound and then use the tinniest bit of fuzz/overdrive (with full open tone) to give your cleans a bit of sparkle. Otherwise, you can switch to filtertrons/P90 or even a humbucker adapter for single-coils if you wanna go to the extreme.
@@prohunter717 I play with the EQ from time to time, I've never really been into testing different settings, but I'll follow your tip. It's an unnecessary precious thing of mine, my Les Paul serves me perfectly for everything I want, but there's that itch of how cool it would be if I could get exactly the tone of the songs I play. But thanks for the tips, I'll take them all into account in my training today

YES I WANNA GO TO J-
“or do you want to go to jail” is crazy 😭
I am in love with you now
I'm a little lost on these setups where u can control it with a PC, is this all emulated or is this basically just software for the hardware?
what are the 3 example songs you used in the intro? they sounded awesome and I'd like to give them a listen
Here they are:
1. Its Raining After All
2. Good Bye to Rock You
3. Early Summer
All goated songs
How about making video about Ling tosite Sigure guitar tone?

Any chance you can make a tutorial for EVE or Official Hige Dandism??
Just don't date teenagers and you'll have the perfect TUYU toan.
This is good. Thank you broo 🌃⭐
By the way, can i ask you to make Guitar tone like Yorushika that n-buna used to make a song please :3
I might! I love yorushika as well
i heard you need to touch minors for the tone
Is there a chance you could upload the preset you made? For some reason I can't get it to sound quite right

What is the name of the plugin app?
Line 6 Helix Native!
make one for bocchi please
I might but theres tons of sources for bocchi's tone so you can try to find them first!
What Daw is that?
Cakewalk!
I did exactly as you said but it doesn't sound the same... I have a telecaster with the same setup.
