Big shiny and loud, I’ve been in love with trucks since I was old enough to know what one was. Plenty of years riding Mack’s in the mountains, it just doesn’t get much better.
This makes me happy. I've just recently gotten my MC license. Going from always loving the sound of Jake's going by to driving with them has been awesome.
As a driver for 25 yrs. I welcome 🙏 you to the family. Be safe and professional out there and remember to KEEP THE BIG ONE OUT THE DITCHES AND THE LITTLE ONE IN THE BRITCHOUS C'MON!
I drive a 21 Ram 3500 with a 6.7L HO Cummins I use the exhaust brake all the time its not as nice as the Jake Brake but I cant do without it! I have had people pull up to me to tell me my brakes dont work right so I explain it to them LOL! Thanks for sharing!
It's not bad to exhaust brakes all the time just remember to check your service brakes once and a while because they can deteriorate and you don't want to lose your service brakes
At 2:12 i super mega extremely love when big trucks jake break because they sound so super mega extremely awesome. (when they sound 100% exactly like that yellow semi truck sounds) and when they be rolling coal (meaning when the truck has a lot of thick black smoke coming out of their exhaust stacks on the truck)
Damn I’ve loved trucks since I was a kid, could never get enough riding with uncles and cousins hauling coal. If you drive roads like that you can drive anyplace. Two stick Mack with one pipe and window in the back. ✌️🇺🇸
NICE JAKE BRAKES!!!!! But in 2:53, that horn sounds like one of NJ Transit Coach liner Express' MCI D4500CLs, Natrual Gasoline-powered/CNG, Hybridization/CTH, & CTs
i dont know what is better...the jake brakes themselves or right before when the driver hits the gas pedal and you hear the engine roar and see the truck straining at its load...love deez things, or die.
People might laugh at this but I'm from Scotland and since I was a kid I always wanted to move to USA and get a visa etc and actually drive a beautiful modified Truck like an old kenworth Peterbilt doesn't matter which one but I would be the most happiest man on earth driving around and living on the road with my truck making deliveries to everyone that needed one . Just pure truck life . Folks say it's boring and you put up with a lot of crap with companies etc but I'd be happy .
I rode wingman in a 1980 international paystar 5000 plow truck, the exhaust stack was right outside my door, passenger door, it was loud, but I miss hearing that,
After doing my research, I'm fine. 10 seconds give or take of sound isnt really much. And i live near railroads, who's horn blow longer and louder. If that saves the truckers life. Im good. If their rig can handle it. Im still good. Jake brakes=karens. We need these men and women in semis!
We mustn't let em Forget, We Still OWN the Roads! 100% but for real some nice ass trucks. Which Cabovers were still in production. No Detroits? Big shame.
Thicker the pipes most likely the quieter the rig gets also the motor too. Cummins got great engine brake sounds but you can make a CAT thunder! Detroit diesel 2 stroke is literally deafening I have a V8 CAT in a A model K whop that you can hear far away I got 2 W900 Kenworths with big Acert CAT engines that are loud as fuck also
Stretching the frame to have room for a bigger sleeper, more storage or more fuel capacity makes sense to me but stretching because it looks cool is beyond me. Than again, I'm not paying for it so what am I ranting about 😅
It's so weird to me seeing these long as prime movers. Where I'm from length restrictions apply to the whole unit (truck + trailers) whereas, if I'm not wrong, for you guys there is just trailer yeah?
@@wisconsinbigrigs8427 Haha that’s what I thought. My Grandpa ran a truck repair company/trailer dealer there and he was a parade marshal a long time ago, pretty sure he was one of the original guys who started it. It’s funny that I’m coming across this now lol.
My childhood home was super close to the road so this is what every night used to sound like~ I know nothing about trucks but love it so much!!
Yeah same here, living next to the highway, it is all I hear really
Your childhood was great my friend!💕🔥🤙🏾
As a trucker , this comment brought tears to my eyes

3:30 that's some serious acceleration for a rig!
Serious acceleration, serious good looks.
The cab was slightly lifting up
Love hearing the Jake breaks drivers. Thank u so much!
Not only the sound but the looks of the semi's is crazy

Beautiful town square and beautiful trucks 👍
What a good record of these machines. Congratulations
The event hosts need to make atleast a 300 metres descending slope. The jack brakes could be good to the lovers

Man i love this sound, always have since i was a kid, and always will!
I used to live on a farm a few miles from a highway offramp... hearing this off in the distance along with distant chainsaws was so comfy.

That was wonderful.
I love semi's and this satisfied my appetite ❤

3:50 I had breakfast with this guy the morning of the show! we were at the same hotel!
Ого
look who it is
When your farts sound like a Jake that's heaven.
That's a Volvo Fart 😂😂😂
I wish Jake breaks were legal in California 😩😩
Jake brakes. Very effective, though they most times sound like someone after some Taco Bell XD
Nothing will jar you out of a peaceful sleep like a semi jake breaking past your house at 5 am. Scares the crap out of you!
This video is so American I received my citizenship soon after I finished watching
This is the world's most beautiful sound period !

I love the buildings in the background!
Definitely a cool setting for a parade
Like a modern red dead setting
Love it. Super awesome 👌 💖
The rig at about 2:44 sounds like a ladder truck that our fire department had some years ago.

Beautiful little town, must be nice.

I wish to someday see them!!!

I have a question.. i see some i wud say customize rigs with those extended chassis. Is that just for looks or is there some benefits to it?
Rides nicer on the highways, and for looks at the same time

Can You Make A Similar Video For The 2023 Parade?
Yes I probably can. It won’t have the night parade clips because the night parade got canceled this year
When will it be released?
Love it❤
