Wasn’t an Amish asked - 3 or more years ago - why is there so little - or maybe no - Covid in your community? He answered: “Because we don’t watch tv …” 😝
That's absolutely true
There is(was?) a mini documentary on this. They purposely associated with each other. Got CV, recovered and moved on. And were able to work and live well.
TV's cause COVID. That's interesting. I thought it was Jewish Space Lasers.
They don't have autism either
It was no worse than a weird feeling cold for a day. It was so mild you could laugh. But it was intentionally misrepresented by Media, Government and Authorities as super dangerous, killing millions, killing the old,
I worked with the Amish for a year and a half. I was invited into many of their homes. They are comfortable with silence in a way that escapes the rest of us
I lived among the Amish in Sarasota Florida! One thing about Amish neighbors....they probably won't steal your lawn mower! They won't blast their music on a Sunday either. lol!
You will wish they steal your lawnmower. Damn they never cut their grass around here. Disgustingly dirty.
Dude was living it up off of Beneva
Yo I'm in sarasota too. You talking about the amish near beneva?
Uhh... Normal people already don't do those things. It should be normal to be decent.
What about Monday-Saturday?
The Amish work harder than 99% of us... Yet, have less "things" and are more content. Staying occupied and being productive, is paramount to good mental health.
They are human, though. When looking over that fence at technology, they have thoughts just like all of us.
Tall green grass has ticks.
I live around the Amish here. You really dont know what you are talking about.
@@middleagedbaldguy6774Unless you're Amish, you don't really know the Amish. Amish country here too, people say they're dirty and inbred
@@somenamelessdude8095 Actually inbreeding is an issue in their culture. Its one of the reasons geneticists study them for data on rare congenital diseases they express so often. www.chp.edu/research/areas/genetics/projects/vockley/amish
@@somenamelessdude8095 inbreeding is in fact, an issue in their culture.
I live among the Amish. The most honest, humble and hardworking people I’ve ever known
Brother, ain't nothing humble about asking $700 rocking chair😂
@@bruceclark5627 They installed custom cabinets in my house. When I went to talk to them they really didn’t have any examples of their work so I took their word for it. Amazing craftsmanship. I can’t believe the quality of work they do and honestly it was cheaper than anyone else
Where?
I have little experience with them, but we have strong Mennonite communities in Kansas. Mennonites are the best people I've ever known. They've built barns, sheds, and fences for our family farm, and those structures are all still standing 50 years after the fact. They take pride in their craftsmanship and are so honest they'll do a business deal on a handshake.
you forgot dirty
Amish aren't happy or sad. There's no time for either because there is work to be done.
Puppy mills wont run themselves.
@@middleagedbaldguy6774true story
That’s being ‘happy’ or as close as humans generally get
This is someone who knows some Amish
Humans are happy when they work physically every day, we literally evolved that way 🤷♂️
Now I'm no expert, but I think it's safe to say Amish people aren't sending their kids to the city to get tested for autism...
There have been long-term studies conducted and it is true there is almost no autism they don't vaccinate and live much healthier than the rest of us.
Don't take my word for it look it up
Yea basically if you need a test to figure out if one is autistic, it's safe to say it is something else and they are just not very bright lol
Or depression, anxiety, micro aggressions …ptsd, adhd, pre diabetes…pre anything that is an excuse to prescribe another pill.
Touché Jimmy Boy!
Exactly!
No one ever went to the police complaining that there's this Amish family that is disrupting the neighborhood.
Unless the horse poops on the street in front of your house 😅
"Trust The Science" is the most humanly repugnant statement that has ever been uttered...
Safe and effective is a magic spell in this messed up timeline
I hope you dont mind if I make a yard sign and bumper sticker saying that. I was going to say "science IS real but scientists lie for fame and money."
@@saysflushablegood one
Self-sufficiency is a blessing in my book. The Amish know how to live off of the land and harmonize with nature. I suspect they are much happier than most 'modern' people.
That's probably because they dont live with the consequences of disobedience to God.Im sure they arent perfect nor do they have perfect lives, but they dont have all the drama
I don’t think they’re happier, they’re probably less miserable
What's the difference?
If they're less miserable, they are happier.
Aside from the obvious media fear and hate mongering. The basics of the lifestyle are a big part too. Most of us work for faceless corporations.
They work for themselves, fulfilling hard work with the end goal being food and security for your family and friends. Going to bed at night having worked physically in silence and fresh air, not a million noises rattling around
If you're miserable, then force yourself to do things that are fulfilling.
It's that simple. Happiness isn't a thing. It's momentary.
Having a purpose in life is the point, and Amish people probably have that.
@@mkaberli614 No, theyre just less miserable. Happiness is just an idea/mindset and isn’t really real, while misery and suffering is undeniably real
I'm quite certainly Amish men are happier but the women? probably not so much!
I live in a small village in Ohio, I live on a main street/road. Horse drawn carriages/buggies have been going past my house everyday for hundreds of years. The Amish that I know personally are very down to earth. My neighbor Henry (Amish) has asked me , "Why is Biden messing everything up?" It is hard to explain corruption, greed and politics to the Amish.
If that Amish guy is pro Trump, then his religion failed him.
That never happened.
@@brianyaniro5086either is your dad. It was the postman... Your a postal baby 😢😢😢😢
Your house is hundreds of years old?
It’s not hard at all the Amish understand the devil trying to take over the world, they know the Bible well and that is what is really happening here 😢
Happiness is relative to what you know. The lack of choice or lack of exposure takes nothing from happiness
Joe does not know how to take a joke 😂 Tucker laughing about the girl seeing The Color Purple and Joe just being dead ass serious about it lol
I currently live amongst the Amish and it’s the happiest I’ve ever been!!! One of my favorite things to do is trade recipes with one friend I made (named Mary). She makes the BEST yeast rolls and pumpkin cookies!!! She taught me how to shuck corn, and we talk about flowers and plants and the funny nicknames some of them have… one in particular… is called cockscomb.
Everytime she makes a bouquet, she’ll save one for me with a few extras in it.
Move to the middle of nowhere and live your best life people!!!
Amish seem a lot more happy than most americans. I live near middlefield ohio , and the amish are quite prevelant.
Amish don’t vaccinate
They also don't drink or do drugs, or eat unnatural foods. That's literally one data point. I'd also go as far to say that autism isn't diagnosed as often in the Amish because they don't take their kids to modern MDs. It's a silly talking point, so many questions. I'm not even saying vaccinations couldn't have those side effects, but that's a really lazy argument.
@@mcleananderson4948good point, but it's pretty obvious when you think about it . They don't have depression either
@@CiroMastinoOn a good note, due to eating living food, Many illnesses don't exist among their population. . On another note, they actually treat animals horribly. I have worked in several rescues where the draft horses come in with harnesses growing into their skin - also, most all puppy mill puppies come from the Amish.
@@CiroMastino you can't be diagnosed for something if you don't go to a doctor in the first place. Want a problem, go see a doctor ;).
Amish might not vaccinate as much as we do, but they do indeed vaccinate.
Also, they breed within their community so they actually have a lesser genetic need to be as vaccinated as much as we do.
They do seem happier.
"You will own less and be happy." - the Amish, probably.
A conversation I viewed earlier, referencing Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, only trade offs.
Definitely not happier. I know them. But life makes sense to them
I live around them in PA and they're nice people.
Two of the most powerful people in the alternative media in a video.
We have Amish friends, we go visit them in Lancaster PA, they are overwhelmingly happier than the average American, you go to the Farmer’s Market and you can see the differences in behavior between Amish kids which are alway polite and industrious if they are not helping their family working they are usually taking care of their smaller siblings, compared to the US societal kid with the cell phone who’s crying and screaming at his mother while she’s trying to buy a loaf of bread or something.
What do 2 extremely rich men know about minimalists and living off the land?
Good point
U could listen to my loser ass on a podcast but would u care?
Crazy that we're in 2024 and we still gotta be this careful
Nobody believes it,
but we know that we suffer punishment for saying the wrong thing. That is completely deliberate - to force views that nobody has a right to force on you without your consent by training you to fear the consequences..
Its entirely deliberate and called "nudge" politics but its being deliberately hidden (suppressed) at big risk to civilization really
never had to be this careful 😂
I wouldn't call the Amish I know in Ohio happier in any way. I've yet to see practically any value in Amish traditions.
My business partner is Amish. To ask are “ they “ happier than English people. Is just ridiculous. It’s like asking are black ppl happier than white ppl. Amish are individuals. Some are happier than others. Also they may have a low rate of autism. But a high rate of birth defects. I’ll let you figure out why that is
The Amish are happier because they’ve been spending most of their lives living in an Amish Paradise.
😂
How does Tucker stay so well informed if he doesn’t even go on the Internet?
My godson was 100% in line for “normalcy” as a child. A mandatory childhood immunization took place… I can’t remember his exact age, but it was around one and a half to three. After he got those shots, he’s been a different kid. He’s now 20 years old, and was diagnosed with autism years ago. Living an amazing life due to his awesome parents, but this could have been avoided.
Color purple slander will not be tolerated 😂😂😂
I seen a video online where an Amish community moved an entire building by lifting and carrying it by hand 😮😮
They just start destroying cities and shit.
Tucker dropping wisdom ,as usual
Lmfao. He's the heir to the Swanson Foods fortune. Wisdom? Tucker's never ever experienced a normal human's life. Not for a single second. I agree with probably 85% of his political takes, but I'll never make the mistake of calling him wise. That's the last thing he is. 😂
@@troymash8109 So, rich people are incapable of being wise, simply because they are rich? Just asking.
@@sparkyprep3905 I was thinking the same thing
There are documentaries regarding Amish seclusion. Majority show the good side and strong family bonds. BUT there is also a lot on incest and adults forgive the male. No punishment.
Have plenty of Amish friends. Over 50% leave. So the short answer is no.
I knew an Amish person very well, and he inspired me. It was the movie Kingpin.
He wanted to go back after he saw someone get munsoned. Doesn’t happen to the Amish. No Munson.
It's not his fault to have had a hard time being amongst us- his Amish teachings should be the main reason for us to look at ourselves and admit failures. We applaud horrible things yet omit Amish bowlers;those who have legit reasons to be honored yet the fact that they do everything we do but 50% more- us with our "10 frames" makes us more like the Quakers, and that's shameful. Explains why the everlasting turmoil in the Middle East continues today if you ask me...
Amen!
Amish don't use herbicides.
I have watched them load a truck full at our local CTI. They farm the same way as the rest of us here.
It depends on the family.
Ooooooh most of them are some of the dirtiest farmers I know
@@johndepasquale4608 Most are some? How many of their farms have you actually been to?
@@middleagedbaldguy6774if they're driving a truck they're not amish they're Mennonite.
I have delivered to the Amish for 6 years. They are amazing and honest people. I live near a woke college town. People are miserable. There is a very obvious difference in happiness when is come down to it.
Tucker's reaction to 'The Color Purple' tells you everything you need to know about him. Tucker watches 'American History X', turns it off after the curb stomping scene and says, "Best movie ever!" Then he throws his wet sock in the wash.
Of course. No social media or TV.
I love these 2 😂
Just to touch on one thing, the Amish may not have any diagnosed autism and the reasons may vary. However, there is an epidemic of their children and babies having rare and incurable disease in their communities due to unintended inbreeding. Since they've stayed to themselves for so long, it was a matter of time that future generations would all be related somehow as distant cousins or share a bloodline of some type. I am surprised this wasn't brought up, because it's a real thing that is happening.
Yes, but they are not alone in this. Many cultures, past and present have had their inbreeding rear it's ugly head. Many in my area are adopting children, giving them a beautiful life, and hoping they choose to stay in the faith and diversify their genes. They do get a choice to stay or go and the children are so blessed to be loved even if they choose to leave.
I live in an Amish community where I provide transportation services for them and have first hand knowledge about their lifestyle. Not all Amish are the same. There’s at least three different groups of Amish that have some variation of religious conviction. The group I’m working with are from all over the country and there isn’t any specific issue with genetics. They are incredibly mobile in that if someone wants to move to a different community, they just pack up and leave as long as there’s an empty house or room available. I’ve personally not seen any evidence of inbreeding within the Amish but I have seen it in severe situations in other communities that are not Amish.
@@RobbieBobbie98 I have lived among the Old Order Mennonites for 40 years. Many have severe issues due to inbreeding.
That is true. They can move around the country like being in the military. My mechanic is Mennonite and some even move to Mexico. But yes they’re different tribes in the Amish Community and their beliefs vary from church to church. Some are more tolerant of certain things while other churches are more like a polygamous community. I’m not an expert this was just explained by an actual Amish person. They are a vary diverse group of individuals
Pretty sure it's the lack of fast/ processed food and clean air and water thats leading to the low autism levels
I wonder what human life exantancy was before the inventions of antibiotics and vaccines😂😂😂
Our society has become weak because of unsustainable complexity and festering social cohesion. United We Stand Together we fall is an ideology of yesteryear and it is a shame.
I was raised to drink beer and kick ass...and right now im almost out of beer!!!

Dazed and Confused nice..
I watch Little House on the Prarie.....it's fantastic
We have a wonderful relationship with many of the Amish families in our area and they have joy. The kids are happy and running around barefoot, their teens are always so willing to help you and serve. The women are reserved but love to smile.. the men enjoy hearing good things that are happening in our lives and vise verse.
My same reaction, your first film is the color purple?
Great podcast
No teenager is happy.. ever. Unless they are breaking something..
Or jerkin their gerkin.
You'd be pissed too if you were about to spend the rest of your life working twice as hard as your ancestors to own only 25% of the same things.
@@hirokomlm131 People today live easier lives than at any other time in history.
There's nothing wrong with the internet as a concept. The problem is Instagram, TikTok, UA-cam Stories etc. Having the entire world's information at your fingertips is incredibly useful.
Well they don’t get taxed here where I live so that ultimately contributes 😂
I doubt that Amish women are happier.
Why do you think that is? Sounded like Jiminy Glick!😂
Ignorance is bliss
Also, people don’t think about conceiving a child whilst drunk. How in the hell is that not dangerous for infant deformity.
Hard working and honest people. The hard part is knowing there's an entirely different world outside of your Amish community. Hard to suppress the curiosity.

“What’s done us in is captivity to the distortions of the advanced modern world” quote by Os Guinness makes even more sense when viewed in context with the Amish.,

Most people want to put things in a neat little box or category and when it falls on of that don’t want to deal with it in some cases vehemently. Few challenge their own belief systems and change easily with even good evidence. Sad.

Not having autism also has to do with having children at a healthier age than what we do. We wait almost until our 30's: less healthier.
Wait, Science is Sciencing???
And here I was thinking that Science is Dr. Anthony Fauci...
one thing to keep in mind is that autism is on the rise because the spectrum was broadened and shrinks started diagnosing every other kid with autism or adhd ect... gotta give kids a reason they can't succeed and believe they are somehow broken.
I don’t watch tv. Haven’t for years
Whats really annoying is that we won't have a comment here from a real Amish to answer all of our questions abd to sort arguments here about them !!
The Amish girl should have watched Transformers: Rise of the Beasts
Ti's a fine barn but t'is no pool English
Do you see them smiling?
Having been raised in an extreme religious sect not unlike the Amish, I can attest that isolating yourself from civilization is NOT the secret to happiness.
How did we drop that bomb to keep Germany from dropping that bomb, Germany had capitulated 3 months before that

Yes there happier. They keep gov out as much as possible.
My sister lived in Orwell there was a bit of Amish that lived nearby. Middlefield Ohio I believe is pretty much Amish country.i don't know who forced them to go to public schools but their school yearbook you could tell not just by the haircuts of the boys and the little hats the girls wear but the expression on their faces my sister said that the flashing of the camera is what scared them.
I lived next to the Amish half my life. They despise their lives but love their families they are enmeshed so they deal with the cult. Very few Amish want to be Amish it's just what's expected
Cool pink hoodie
The Amish are great friends and neighbors. I know them personally. That said, because of the very close marriages between families again and again over so many years, they often have some weird birth defects no doctors ever hesrd of. They take good care of them but keep that offspring out of the public eye. They're generally kind and respectful and dont have time for nonsense. There's too much work to do.
He says “so much going on here Joe” but only harped in the Color Purple…
Cant come for you if we rather go for them instead
The key to happiness is human connection and community. We had that when I was a kid. When new neighbors moved in, everyone went over to see if there's anything they needed, mowed their lawn for them the first week while they were unpacking, and took them over pies and casseroles. Small town Kansas in the 1960s and 1970s, and yes, that includes our new neighbors who were black, a Mexican family, and two Cambodian families. I know everyone thinks white people, especially in small towns, are racists, but it's not the truth.
Why did you have so many neighbors living in the same house?
I live by the Amish and have friendships with some of them, they are literally the happiest people on the planet. They have virtually no worries because in the community there is no greed. Your needs are taken care of. If Josiah needs a farm his community will raise the money and help him by that farm and Josiah pays them back as he can. Here's the fascinating thing about them, they are allowed technology outside of the home until they join the church, when they are old enough to join the church, they no longer want it because they see how terrible it is. In terms of sickness, they have NO sickness because most of what they eat is all natural. They have VERY low instances of most diseases/disorders that plague us including autism and cancers because they don't vaccinate, and they eat well. They don't know what depression is!
Honestly, the Amish are living in the past where woman got married and had children in their 20s
Anyone not in the culture is healthier and safer, BUT the lure, the seduction of the culture is powerful.
Autism isn’t reported in their community. Most of the autism children or adults are sent to live in long term inpatient psychiatric facilities because the families don’t understand their problem. Even diagnoses like ADHD in the Amish community is frowned upon and may find their way in these facilities
Tucker is absolutely a completely different person , always knew there was something about him I just knew it and I knew that he was doing something that he didn't want to do anymore i could tell ,
What if autism is caused as a side effect of women taking the pill. The older the mother(aka the longer she was on the pill) the higher chance of her child to have autism?
