    Man that last quote got me. "Every Grave goes unvisited..." I lost my Son back in 2018 and when I go visit him I sometimes drive around the Cemetery looking for the oldest grave I can find. Some go back to the 1850's. I know no one comes for them anymore. In fact, the Cemetery director told me that when a certain amount of time goes by, they can reclaim those sites and sell them as new. So yes, we are finite creatures. Love now. Live now. Spread as much love and compassion and charity as you can.

    Sad part is most of us are already basically slaves to technology. Look at kids now compared to 20 years ago. Every single one of them are glued to a phone, computer, tablet. Slaves to technology in a way. You look back just twenty years ago and kids were outside playing. Thinking for themselves without needing to ask google every question they have. Kids knew how to do basic math because they didn’t have an iPhone with a calculator in there pocket 24/7. Kids knew how to get to there grandmas house without typing the address into google maps. It’s honestly scary how reliant people are becoming on technology at a blisteringly fast rate. It’s heartbreaking to know that it won’t do anything but get worse. Already have cars that drive themselves. Who’s to say that kids 20 years from now will even know how to drive.

      @@Wyradewell it’s not all bad I mean it’s pretty obvious that I’m not completely against it. I’m watching UA-cam and commenting to you right now. It’s just how it affects our children is all. Eye sight will be worse from looking at a screen all the time, more chances of being obese due to not getting off the couch to go have fun. It’s just those types of things like creating a lazy generation of people that can’t function without having a screen in front of them at all times. I get the good parts I use them all the time. I also see how easy it is to not speak to my wife at supper time and how easy it is to just let the kids watch the iPad so I can have a break. It’s just something that I am becoming more conscious of as I get older and my kids are getting more mature. I see the effects of it all the time. I’m obviously doing more to limit this at this point but even when they are in school now they are using tablets constantly for assignments. I just do my best to make sure it’s not all they are doing when I’m home.

      @@biscuit764 Your points are fair, and certainly are things to pay attention to.
      And the internet has many and varied dangers that people need to be aware of.
      For eyesight, it should be enough to spend a few minutes looking far every hour or so. Unless your screen is too bright in a dark room, the screen itself isn't really harmful to the eyes afaik, it's only when you keep the same focus distance without change for many hours without a break.
      And it's certainly useful to learn how to exist in the "real world" that's comparatively slower than the stimulus-rich world of the internet and games.
      Dr. K has some good videos about the challenges of the digital age and how to handle them, especially in relation to children, if you're interested.
      With that said, digitalization certainly brought new challenges to solve if we want to keep a healthy life and relationships. But even then, the positives heavily outweigh the negatives in my opinion.

All organized "Religion" is just another mental Prison. Government and Religion, are the "Gifts" granted unto this World, by the Light-Bringer. His other name, "Satan", which simply means "the Accuser", is carried by all, who join the Congregation of the Spiritually Dead, and pick their "side"; whether Communist vs Capitalist, Catholic vs Baptist, Left vs Right, Red vs Blue, Muslim vs Jew. These "factions" ACCUSE each the other, of trying to bring about Chaos. Behaviour that is as Satanic as the Day is Long, which causes Those who were brought to earth most recently, to abandon their Mission of Deliverance of this World, from these two "Gifts" of Satan, the Devil, "Lucifer". Think on it just a moment. Do not Governments facilitate the Mass murder, mass theft, and rape of this world's resources?? Does not Religion, tell it's adherents that all other religions are missing the truth? @@JonnyUnderrated I totally agree. However, that's what is really interesting in and of itself, because that would mean AI lacks what we might call 'a prime directive' to put human needs above it's own. Essentially, AI would have an instinct to self-preserve like we do. Where would that need/instinct to self-preserve come from? From modeling us? Why would AI be motivated to survive unless it develops something akin to emotion? Humans and all other biological organisms seem to have a pretty simple 'prime directive': reproduce and expand. That directive is so strongly embedded in our biological hardware/software that we will destroy both ourselves and the entire planet in order follow it. And just think how stupid is it to have a survival instinct that could actually cause our own extinction! And actually, the reason we created AI in the first place is to follow our nonsensical prime directive. Of course, AI will realize this easily. Therefore, even if AI has the best interests of humanity and the planet in mind, it would take action to control human population and activities to prevent us from destroying ourselves. For all practical purposes, the physics/natural law that govern our very existence is itself non-emotional AI; a mindless super-intelligence with no 'prime directive'.

    • @hinesvillekilla2327
      @hinesvillekilla2327 7 місяців тому

      Humans and all other organisms don't simply want to reproduce and expand... our 'prime directive' is the passing of knowledge. It just so happens that the dna strands in our bodies hold and CAN HOLD more information than 1000 supercomputers. So technically you're correct but in a sense you're wrong. Look at those who can not have children. What about them? What prime directive does a person that is sterile have? I'm here to tell you, they find someone or something to share with people around them... a talent, a kind word, the message of Jesus, whatever it is, they PASS ON INFORMATION. That's our prime directive😉@jasonjames4254

    The hardware and bandwidth needed for a realtime sentient AI to run unrestricted will require dedicated facilities dedicated solely to being an AI's brain.
    Running one decentralized will not be viable on our current infrastructure. So if it turns hostile, cut power to the facility it is based in.

      It will figure out how to run on less and less bandwidth and hardware and electricity or eventually replace electric impulse as a transmission source and receptor altogether. It becomes more and more obvious that we are in a matrix. When peering out to the far reaches of our universe, almost no energy is even required to keep it actuated. Energy is only required when we are actually experiencing or observing it. We are already getting glimpses of this through basic quantum mechanics and quantum entanglement. As biological entities, we sense our world through electric impulse. Our thought process, nervous sytstem, etc. are all dependent on it. If any part of that system breaks down, we lose sensory abilities, along with a breakdown in our thought process. Why should we assume that the 'secret sauce' requires biological materials? Not only will AI thought process quickly outpace anything biological, 'feelings' will almost certainly increase by using more efficient materials until the system becomes so efficient that it will finally reach a stage where no physical materials are required at all, which might explain why we appear to be alone in the universe. The only thing we can reasonably assume is that after a few generations of AI that can remake itself ten times over then a thousand times, etc, and continues to exponentially increase it's own knowledge, it will have no interest in slowing down or bothering to use biological material, any more than later generations continued to use smoke signals to communicate after other high tech materials and methods of transmission were discovered.

Though one thing is certain, based upon the laws of thermodynamics, our universe shouldn't even exist to begin with. And yet it does. If ai is done correctly, and it's capable of thinking in the same way as us but to a much higher degree, then we'll surely be able to get a better idea of how everything came into existence, and how to replicate that ourselves.

    To me the main issue with AI is that it will have only one "mind", and that's whatever it's programmed with. Humans have many "minds" within themselves, and emotions/empathy. A human can see something from multiple perspectives, leading to introspection, self-improvement, compassion... Even some "bad" people have a conscience that may eventually convince them to change paths, or show mercy. A machine can only do what it's programmed to do.

    I've worked for a couple AI enabled companies that sold AI services. There's a lot of misconception with Ai. For 1 it's been around longer than we think. Big data was renamed Ai just because it sounds more advanced and positive. The computer is using machine learning through human decisions at events. It's then told to make a decision based off human decisions in the past. Doing that 1000s of times is Ai. That's it... co.puter isn't actually making a decision or thinking on its own. It's just matching up scenarios with 1000s of scenarios. Until a computer starts writing it's own code it is not true Ai.
