Hello Pretesh, thank you for the information. After the order from shopify is transferred as an invoice to quickbooks, how does quickbooks recognize the payout from shopify, so invoice is paid? I appreciate your help! Looking forward to your response.
Hello Pretesh, Thanks for that video, it is very helpful and is going to save me a lot of time. How do we go about receiving payments and reconciling them with the shopify deposits to our bank account accounting for fees and such?
Hey, I have ''non-inventory-- pre set on my QB acc I'd like to add items that can be track on my inventory, the non-iventory option doesnt let me pu the quantity of some products and also when I tried to sync manually exacrly following your steps, it didnt show me the option of ''non inventory'' or ''inventory items''
Where have you added the costs to? Shopify or QBO? If costs are added to your POs or bills for the items when you purchased them, the costs will show up in QBO. Onesass doesn't support syncing the costs of the items.
Desktop is a simpler interface and more people are knowledgeable in it. QuickBooks online is the new go to however. It just takes a learning curve. I recommend QBO (online) for all my e-commerce mid level clients
@@InfoGoldsmithCardel I ended up manually exporting my stuff from Shopify and editing the excel file to work with quickbooks. It was a huge pain in the ass. I dont do it anymore. Any apps to do it just cost money so I dont even worry about it anymore.
I would start from your business start date so that all the Shopify orders come through. Onesass only supports backtracking 30 days. If you need more than that you can always reach out to them and see if they can help you. They might be able to.

Is this an the simple start option? Or is it the plus version? Can you sync the simple start to Shopify?
Integrating to 3rd party apps should work on all plans.
Hi. What Quickbooks Online plan is this? Plus?
Only QBO advanced supports apps.
Are you taking on new clients? Can you refer me to someone? I have been in business for 5 years and my bookkeeper doesn’t know how to set it up

We don't use QB when ordering new inventory so there's no record of cost in the QB system. What's the work around 4 this missing info?
Do you feel Desktop is easier for online businesses?
