I’ve lost count of the number of times I have had the privilege of seeing these boys live - early 81-85 probably their best. I traipse out every couple of years out of loyalty, but this gig was probably my last. I love them to bits, but let’s be fair, Mark’s voice has passed its sell by date - which I hate saying, because they have given me so much joy over the last 40 years. I actually think Shaun and the boys are a massive addition to the line up - they look like they are really trying to enjoy themselves and they are outstanding musicians. There can be no question that PRB is a magnificent drummer, but I’ve always felt he is just a bit too busy for L42….and his kit seems to get bigger every year 😂 Finally, a quick mention for The Christians, who supported… they were outstanding and I could easily have listened to another 30 minutes of them.
Love this tune, but can't take to this drummer. I see he's been with them since 2010, but this song should groove and he disrupts the flow. Sorry to be harsh.
Disagree entirely. Nothing wrong withthe drummer AT ALL. Great performance imo. And then we're going to complain about the mix? Sounds like a single source recording, so the mix isn't going to be like the studio obviously.
@@andrewkaiser7203 Upon further listen, the drum fills that bother me are him trying to get back to the sequenced click, not necessarily bad drumming. But it's still on him to lose the click in the first place. 1:42 is a good example. You see the keyboard player (Micheal) signal the drummer as he corrects himself with that snare fill. Then the guitarist comes over and they laugh about it. I know that happens, but it happens a number of times in this song...and seemed sloppy to me on first listen.
Wow. Fantastic band.
Enjoy my channel, Ross‼️👍
Sounds so good 😊
The best group ever

Mark the legend : )
What a song and what legends Level 42 are. But what are those 3 planks at the back doing, sack em.

He needs to be in the back... Too loud.
Overpowering in the mix. And the bass drum has too much thump.
Agreed
