I think, she matched up with John Blazo. He was good, too. Yes, I really loved "Delia" when she made a lot of money on Wall Street investments and had to loan the Ryan's bar some money. Ryan’s Hope really is a fabulous show. The humor is particularly notable in this episode and then. I will get molly-whopped by one of the more tonally serious episodes. ❤

Hey there yes i knew about the problem and id seen all eps from Freeflyur,but thanks for telling me anyway. well i think we got some more eps from the Soapnetrun i think 4 or 5 eps right?i think peraphs our friend in here will say something if there are more eps or not and as i said before stranger things have happened,so who knows a major fan of RH might have taped all from 1982 and might end uploading it.............u never know.............gotta put it out there right...............another wish...................but meanwhile im so OVERJOYED this has happened!!!!!!!!IM LOVING IT!!!!!!!!!so surprised though few clicks on the eps...................dont u agree the eps would be watched more?
mmcost Actually I was wrong about Freeflyur's channel--it doesn't have any 1982! It seems to start in 1983. I wish I could find a source to buy 1982 and maybe get someone to upload it to UA-cam. SoapNet ended in Christmas '81. Right now I will have to settle for the episode summaries of 1982 on the RH proboards
@@debbieholzherr2990 How could they keep Ilene when she chose to leave? She was tired and wanted to be a big prime time comedy star. Unfortunately for her it didn't work out that way. In very early 1982, she returned to daytime TV in the new role of Georgina Whitman on One Life to Live, they soon fired her (and replaced her with the 3rd Nancy Feldman, actress, Nana [Tucker] Visitor). In the meantime, Randall Edwards, now also tired of playing Delia , left the show and they rehired Ilene. In 1983 was the only time that RH fired Ilene.
I am rewatching this after a lot of years, I saw this the original run in college back in the late 70s early 80s. I lost total interest in RH with this Egyptian storyline and quit watching. It was just for lack of a better word "stupid". LOL. After the Rae, Kim, Michael Pavel Jr. story RH went totally downhill.
The Charlotte Greer storyline from 1983 was brilliant. The show had it's ups and downs; the glory years for me were 1975-83. The worst years were 1984 and 1985, but it did still have some wonderful stories and performers. I did lose heart when Nancy (Jillian) left in 1988 though.
Randall Edwards was so memorable in her 3 years on the show. I love Ilene's Delia, and she is the "real" Delia for me, but Randall was great too!
I'd read about Randall's take on Delia. I agree. She's a very good recast.
I loved her as much as I loved IK. They just portrayed Delia differently, not better, not worse, just differently.
