Its because of the rarity of the car and the fact that the car didn't depreciate as bad as a camaro. In 1993 MKIV Supras beat everyting in their class to include out the LT1 camaro, C4 Corvette, Mustang/ Mustang Cobra. The only cars that really could beat them stock were Vipers. And remember the Supra is over 15 years old and a classic. That is why I own one. :)

I think in my opinion the Supra, 300ZX and RX-7 all came out before there time. I think we all know that if all of the three cars came out even today, they would be the car to buy. The Supra is the best out of the three since I have owned all three cars at some point. The Supra has the best motor to upgrade from and honestly I just bought another one so i'm happy.
They didn't quit making the car, they just quit importing the car to the US. It was still produced in Japan. The cost was high to import it and not enough people were buying the car. I know that would of changed if the Fast and Furious would of came out back in 95. I remember back before that Movie came out you could buy a supra for book value.

rice cars is a term that came about because of the japanese tunning. japanese is associated with eating rice, and tuning imports is a japanese thing. its klinda racist to the japanese. this is a thing of the past that has stayed.(the term ricing) obviously its not only the japanese tuning imports
I agree with you because i love supras and BMWs but you can buy a supra and take your time moding it not like a new M5 where you drop it up front, i dont know about this guy but if you watch the real vid you can see he did it over time.
supras are the baddest car to mod you can do so much to that 2jz it crazy most people that just buy one thats modded with even 350 hp lose the back end try'n out drive someone that has experience with driving one ive seen it done with a few supras
