:) Loved ur video and I followed u on TikTok May God bless ur soul Amen
GIRL!! Thank you for doing a strictly dollar tree channel! Some of us don’t have access to a target, bed bath and beyond and more to us all the time. You make it feel real on this channel and not everyone has money but I do know a lot of us likes to do stuff cheap! We love you dollar tree queen!! ❤️❤️😭😭
You are so welcome! I'm all about making budget- friendly as amazing possible, I hate overspending on most of the stuff at store like Target
If you soak the wood Skewers in Water before you use them they won’t burn. I bought the skimmer. Gonna use it with DT funnel cake mix.
I was about to comment the same thing! 😄 ...Soak in water first.
Be careful with the plastics in the dolla 🌳. They have bpa and other dangerous chemicals.
XaZa most of their stuff says BPA free right on them. 😊
@@xaza7774 not all their stuff has paid in it. I always read the labels before I buy stuff. There are lots of plastic containers there that do not contain BPA.
I was about to suggest the skewer thing. 25 min in water and it won’t burn. Also do this with born on the cob.
I use the silicone pads for my glue gun.. beats the $10 price on Amazon! If you use bamboo skewers, soak them in water for awhile to keep them from burning up.
Great idea!
I was just wondering that, my glue gun is such a mess. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for this tip, I burn my fingers often. I will get some pads for my glue gun
Glue gun idea!!! Yess thx you💡
I would say this video was definitely useful NOT useless. Great starter items for HOUSEWARMING presents!
The Betty Crocker's scissors are "AMAZING" 👌
Need to get those 💕
yes they are
I’ve had mine for about ten years, use them almost every day and put them in the dishwasher. They’re (seemingly) INDESTRUCTIBLE!😸
And you can open smaller tops or caps with the jaws inside the handles. Ever try to get the cap off of your E6000 when it's glued shut? These scissors will open it! Amazing!
Yes they are I have a pair I love them
No one is useless, we are all here for a purpose so embrace the fact that you're loved!🥰
by who
@@ivaraye8821 You made me laugh, you must be my crazy friend.
I love love dollar tree
My husband breaks everything. So yes I make him use different items
deshun omg...SAME. I literally have my vacuum and carpet cleaner hidden!!!
I really enjoy your Dollar Tree videos! I believe in "you get what you pay for", but there are times when a dollar can go even further!
Girl, I love how down to earth you are it's so "useless" being fake! Thanks for sharing these, I need the apple slicer for my boys! I use a lot of the kitchen gadgets you mentioned actually. I shop there so often. It's crazy how good quality a lot of their things are. When you're on a budget, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!! Keep the videos coming!! ❤️❤️
I love the timer... I use it for everything, not just cooking.. set the timer to remind me to pick up clothes from dryer (I' m in an apartment), time my cleaning (that's how I motivate myself!.... 30 mins cleaning... go lol... without the timer, I'm Useless!! ;) xo
Need to try this.. Thanks for motivation 👍
I actually used to do this in high school in the morning. That way I knew how much time I had in the bathroom, getting dressed and whatever else before I had to leave for the bus.
I love going to Bed Bath & Beyond & seeing lots of items that cost $5+ there are basically the same as DT. The vegetable brush comes to mind- it’s basically the same thing for way less. If you are familiar with DT it’s always satisfying to walk around BBB & feel like you didn’t get ripped off!
It would be useless to go pay more money at another store when u can get Awesome finds at the Dollar Tree for a dollar.
I feel you with the husband thing. Mine broke my good apple coarer cutter trying to use it on a potato.
A potato 😂
I use mine on potatoes all the time. They make great steak fries. Also use it to cut and core pears
I spit out my tea ☕️ 😂😭😂😭❤️ gotta love husbands
My boyfriend messed up my brand new none stick pan using a metal fork to scratch it up! And it’s not the first time! 😤
Yes, I've gotten quite angry at my bf for ruining new kitchen stuff.
The silicone brush is also good for spreading wood glue. Some woodworkers use it then peel off glue when dry and reuse.
Good idea!
I’ve been feeling a little “useless” lately, going to DT to cheer up 💋
I hope you're feeling better.
I never heard easy peezy, lemon squeezy, actually be used for a lemon squeezer! 🤣👍🏼
I know! I was like that's it, she wins! LOL!
You must be young lol. My 16 year old knows it because I said it a lot lol
Melissa Grey what? Young? How often are you using a lemon squeezer?
I thought that was cute lol.
Hi love your channel. thank you for sharing your favorites. Dollar Tree sells a shelf liner that is the same thing as thejar grippers you showed near the start. It is larger, I got one and cut it down into squares. Was able to get 8 to 10 out of it. Just thought I would share that. Take care, be safe and try to stay happy and healthy.
That’s a great tip! 🖤
Thank you
👍👍👍👍👍
Use the silicon pad to open jars with- the silicon give a good grip.
Girl that hair is SNATCHED 👏🏼
The skimmer looks perfect for hard boiled eggs
I’ve bought a plastic hand held strainer, kitchen scissors ✂️, the small silicon utensils, stainless egging spoon, measuring spoons and measly cups. Love their kitchenware selections.
I LOVE the silicone brush!!! No more brush bristles on my meat!
I didn’t know they had the jar grippers! Definitely grabbing them. I love having scissors in the kitchen. I use them for everything. Open up packages, food, whatever. Those marshmallow skewers work great! We’ve had ours since last year. My boys have the smaller utensils in their kitchen 🖤
The silicone mat for hot tools is such a great idea, tfs!
I love the pizza wheel so I use it to slice my grilled cheese sandwiches my quesadilla is anything that I need to cut it just I don't use a knife it's either the kitchen scissors or the pizza cutter that's what I cut grilled cheese and quesadillas with
Those grip pads are also great to keep cakes sturdy on your turn table. Especially when your making smaller cakes. It keeps the board still so that it doesn't move while you're icing. Also I use them to stack pots so they don't scratch, and I also use them under hot pots when serving something warm at the table.
I also keep the good stuff for me...things come up missing or worse messed up when others get his hands on them!
I use that veggie brush for my nails
The Betty Crocker Scissors are Great. The center area can be used to open bottles. I honestly don't know how I missed it all these yrs. It makes it So Easy! No more scraped hands!
I definitely love those Betty Crocker scissors they are amazing. I recently picked up a few mini silicone items as well. I love their kitchen storage items. They are pretty good quality especially for snacks definitely not useless.
OMG THE MEASURING CUPS 😫 Mine all rubbed off and that makes me insane!!!
I've had my dollar tree mixing bowl for at least 3 years.
Thank you I just moved and need to replace items while getting into cooking more this is the perfect start
Mark the size of your measuring cups with a sharpie! Then they aren’t “useless!”
Sharpie wears off after a while too.
Love the silicone pad tip, and I've had my kitchen scissors for over 3 yrs. Used all the time and never had a problem. So they are a must in my kitchen. Bamboo utensils are also a must in my kitchen
Love the scissors. The squeeze bottles are why I left the safety of my home to go to DT...& $40 LATER... Agree with measuring cup labels that wear off, but the betty crocker spatula is great. The skewers, scraper, scrubber n expandable forks work great too! The rubber covered tongs n baster have lasted 1 yr! I'm shook!
Isn't it funny how much we can spend at the DT? Lol I'm always going in for a couple things & coming out having left so much of my $$ with them
Yes!!..I love their kitchen stuff!
Its "useless" to shop anywhere but dollar tree 😆 TFS great tips!
It really is! xoxo
I had no idea that there were so many of these little tools were at DT! Nothing was useless in this video 😘
I've become somewhat useless in the kitchen since all my chicks flew the coop! DT has plastic cutting mats, two in a pack! They are great to have under your art project, protects from paint and glue! TFS
Yes! I use them for crafting too!!!
Agree! So many uses. I use them to extend the height of the sides of my cat's litter box-she sometimes overshoots, ew.
I have everything that you showed in the video. Love them and it would be absolutely crazy and useless to buy any place other than Dollar Tree. 🥰
I love all of my dollar tree items!! Everything is so useful. I’ve purchased some other most expensive items that have been useless, but my dollar tree items do the trick for the most part.
I basically like mostly all them, but my favorite is the scissors. I would be “Useless” without them.
I love using the little mesh strainer to rinse my rice! I need to get a new one.
Sarah, I use those same scissors to cut pizza too.I gave up on pizza cutters years ago. Hint when using straight skewers, if you use two what ever you put on the skewers will not rotate when you turn you food over. I own a bunch of the DT ones. But I like my double pronged one the best.
My favorite kitchen item is the wire cake racks. I was buying the racks that came in two pc. . I have a large 12 ft x 16 ft pantry that has 9 of those 4 ft wide by 78 inches tall wire metal shelving units. I used the racks to close off the shelves on the ends or back side that don't touch the walls. I just zip tried them onto the shelves. Then on the end of one unit that the end is easy to get to I bent the racks into square "U" shapes and attached 10 of them above each other forming wire holders for my, Press N Seal, tin foil, wax paper, parchment paper, baggies and so forth. You can also do this to make spice racks or all kinds of things.
In the garden section last year I purchase 4 of those flower pot trolleys. You know the ones that go under the pots and have little wheels. I use them as lazy Susan's in my cabinets
I use the stainless steel scrappers to clean off the top of my Blackstone flat top griddle. I also sharpen them and cut a lot of vegetable at one time. I rest my glue gun on one. There are many uses for them.
The skimmer is also good for dipping out pasta from the water. I cook in glass pans and you can't just dump the water off, the pasta will stick to the pan before you get it all dumped into a strainer.
I find the DT micro fiber dish towels USELESS for drying dishes. Thanks Sarah for sharing your best kitchen items from DT.
The condiment bottles are also great for things other than in the kitchen!
Sure are!! I lost the bottles to do my tye dye so I got these same bottles to use 2/$1 can't beat it!
i'm loving this stuff and the curtains in the back I need those
I’m so glad when you talk about items, you actually know what they are for and how else they can be used. I don’t need to hear any useless information. I hear enough of that at home . Lol. Thanks lv ya
I use the garden gloves with the rubber crom DT to open jars works awesome! My husband thought this was useless until he needed it and it works beautifully.
Jessica Theriot great idea!
The can opener from Dollar Tree is useless! Breaks on me every time ughh. But definitely down to try some of your suggestions!!
They fall apart quickly.
Same
💯 no can opener from DT🙅🏽♀️
I hate them..I have one from dollar general store I love..
Hey! I'm in Philly too! Yes I know how "useless" our backyards are. Or front. I totally agree with you on the kitchen utensils. But don't buy the can openers! They work like 2 or 3 times and thats it! Love ya for keeping it real.
I just bought several kitchen things as an 8th grade graduation gift for my 14 yr old grandson. I’m going to HAVE to go to a different Dollar Tree to find some of those items!! BTW?? My grandson, who wants to be a race car driver or work on them?? Absolutely LOVED his gift!!! LOL so did his 12 yr old brother, since he gets to eat what his brother bakes!!
OMG! I just loved all your recommendations. I can’t wait to get to my Dollar Tree to find some of these things.
This is my first time watching you and I loved this episode and your suggestions even though there is no Dollar Tree in my country. 🤣 I've seen the apple corer in stores before and didn't think I needed one until I saw this video and how you used it! It makes it so easy to instantly slice apples to pack as a snack. I have to have one now! It is definitely not a "useless" tool! Thank you for keeping people informed on some great buys💖
Thanks for all the suggestions 👍
It's useless to spend your hard earned money anywhere else when you can get it at the dollar tree!! LoL thanks for sharing your tips. Can't wait to try the metal skewers!
Hi Sara, you always give us wonderful ideas. Dollar Tree should honestly sponsor you!!
Loved your video! I feel so "useless" without some kind of dollar tree content or items each week. You make them more wonderful every time! Love you!
Great idea for the silicone pot holders for hot tools. I also have purchased the mini wisk to whip up my hair color and developer...it's life. Paying more than a $1 is Useless 🙃. Thanks for sharing.
Yes I bought a bunch of those for my salon. We all love them for mixing color.
The bins are a life saver!! Neve useless!! Just reorganized my pantry with all white (then switches to all black) bins and it is so calming and pleasing to the eye 😌
The mini colored spatchulas.. I bought like 5 already use them for EVERYTHING lawd yes they are my favorite go to when I need a spiritual! Highly recommend
I use my old bamboo skewers as paint stir sticks, for crafting, and all kinds of stuff! They're so cheap and usually come with so many in a package! But definitely prefer the metal ones for grilling 😂😂
The silver scraper is not “useless”, it can have so many uses. I use mine in the kitchen when cutting veggies, I am able to scoop them up into a pan. Or you can use it to scrape off labels on flat surfaces after wetting it.
I too love the white mixing bowl, but I use mine to throw my peels or scraps when I’m cutting and chopping.
Betty Crocker scissors are great. 👍🏼
I love your idea of having a set of cooking stuff just for bbq, I’ll have to try it. Thanks for all your love and suggestions
Yes the sifters!!!! I got one girl?!!! After all these years I can know sift flour for cakes for a dollar!!!!!
Works great for powder sugar when making frosting 😁
I love the DT tongs that have the rubber on the tips. The all metal tongs are useless! Loveeeeee your channel! 💜
Dollars tree items are never USELESS.. * grabs purse and head to DT! * 🤣 Love the video! Great suggestions! God Bless Always!! 🤗
That brush is perfect for sauces. I just picked up a second one for this weekend for when my daughter helpse in the kitchen.
I love those mixing bowls!
I think I have must about everything you showed!!!! Love you!!!
Thank you for sharing. These were great ideas. I like the 100% cotton dish towels and the ice cream 🍨 scoops.
That masher looks like it'd be good for breaking up ground beef.
I use mine all the time for ground turkey 👍
And sausage! Makes fast work into crumbles.
I love the tip about using the silicon pot holder for hot tools! Thanks. And yes, the measurements on my old measuring cups would always rub off- not anymore!
Paying top dollar for kitchen utensils is useless when you've got Dollar Tree! Sarah we get those same rubber grippers! My favorite thing, though, is the Betty Crocker black cooking spoon - which I like to say was the best dollar I ever spent! 😉 I've had it for years and it's indestructible!
I love your videos! Their so real and honest. A couple of my favorite things from the dollar tree is the sea salt and crack pepper grinders. They are perfect to cook with and to put on the table. And it's "unless" to spend more than dollar on it!
I thought some of these products were useless so I always walked by them. You learn something new every day! 😂
Didn't know about the silicon; I'll hunt for that. Been using some of these for years. One thing you didn't include is a quilted placement sized "drying mat" that you place under your dish drainer on your drainboard. I have two and they are LIFE SAVING for keeping my drainboard dry during dishes. One of mine is a small one and one is a larger one. I need to grab more larger ones my next trip to DT I swear. Been tempted to get the white bowl, but I have a discarded Kitchen Aid metal bowl that has a ring I can slide my fingers through to hold still so I've held out on getting it, but I have picked up their stoneware bowls in a few colors for cereal for the kids--if they break, it was a buck. They come clean really well and stack decently. (Don't leave a can that you're rinsing for recycling in a white bowl though. I think I asked for trouble there) I've bought their packs of silverwear, I'm on the hunt for their wooden spoons--no luck so far, sadly--and I have my favorites I get each time from the meds section: Tylenol Sinus, Sudafed, Mucinex, and allergy in a pale green box. I bought my hair stuff from there. I bought their lanterns for use when the lights go out (have used them one at least for that and a few times when our parking lot lights were out and trash needed to go out). The dog collars work for my cats who destroy collars anyways. LA Awesome.Their pressboard door decorations are on my door for each holiday. Current one says Dream It! On the back is a metal butterfly in purple with a bead--it's my favorite of their door hangers. I LOVE Dollar Tree, but I know that I can get into so much danger in there. That's not to mention the food that I can buy! :)
You're tips are never "useless"! Thanks for the videos.
Thanks for sharing, the silicone pads and skewers were new to me. Thanks for showing them on the video. I had the measuring cups for a while now and they are fantastic.
10:50 - I hadn't thought to use something like that. I especially like it because it has a little handle you can hold, making it easier to put the product on.
Love you and your family dear! Your tips n tricks are ahhh-mazing!! Ok, here we go, I try to use-less sugar in my baking!! Lol!! I used your word a little different, hope it brings a smile to you and everyone! Blessings from NYC 😘😷
I have had my kitchen brush for years!! love it. and I always get my measuring spoons and cooking utensils from there sturdy attractive enough and easily replaced. :)
Oh love this stuff!! My favorite kind of video!!
I use the betty Crocker scissors for cutting bacon into dices and cutting green onions etc. Just wash them after each use.
Thanks....I wouldn't have thought of that!
I got a pair of these kitchen scissors I love them they cut really good
I love the Betty Crocker items from the Dollar Tree. So far I have not had any trouble and I use very often. My kitchen is black, red & white so it goes perfect. I have most of the things you showed but there were a few things I will check like the one thing for the grill. Thanks for sharing. This is my first time seeing your channel can't wait to see what's next.
Are you soaking your bamboo skewers for a few hours before you use them? I find that usually helps but I do love the metal skewers also. They're so totally not useless 😅
I have had my betty crocker scissors a long time. Love them
Love this haul you get straight to the food stuff thank you
You can buy so many things from the dollar tree that is better than any other stores. From cooking pans to laundry soap. Even there sippy cups are great . thanks for your video . love them
Used those basic brushes for my painting projects and crafts. Works great!
Love your ideas! They are never useless! Have a wonderful day!
Thanks Sarah! As usual, a really good video!!!! I love their round yellow or blue dish n pot scrubbers 2 for $1. Out w useless Gadgets!!!!
I like the condiment silicone bottles to transfer large jar or bottles of condiments, lotion, cleanser etc. I have many of them around the house. i use the scrubbers and little dustpan and sweeper too. Not everything in DT is useless. Like you said, many of the items are good substitutes for high prices items that do the same thing! Thanks Sarah!
❤ yes please do a video like this for every room. This video was right on time. I am remodeling ny kitchen.
One thing I'd add is the Betty Crocker spatula. They are great for scraping out from pans or bowls.
Great video! I love all the kitchen gadgets you featured especially the kitchen scissors and scrapper. Dollar tree wood skewers are 'useless' for me in the kitchen but I love them for DT diy's.
None of these tools are “useless”! Great finds!
I do have some of these items from the Dollar Tree. The only one I wouldn't buy is the apple slicer. I find that any that I've purchased, expensive or cheap, have not worked properly and some broke. I just use a knife now.
I'm glad you've got a decent mixing bowl for your baking. I have one similar to the white one you held up, but it's quite heavy plastic. It works great for mixing just about everything. I have a scraper also and use it to pick up chopped fruits or vegetables on my cutting board. It seems to pick up every tiny piece. A great tool.
I've got the silicone hot pads but wouldn't recommend them for taking hot items out of the oven. They just aren't thick enough and I've found the heat comes through very quickly!! Ouch!
A fun video and makes me want to get to my Dollar Tree. Soon....
Great video for someone just starting out and needs a direction on what to buy that will be useful in their kitchen.
Also, those silicone pad and stainless steel scraper ideas were en pointe. I never thought of them for those uses so kudos.
Love so many of the items you showed today. Also I would also be lost without the cute ladle and colorful brush. I use that little brush to spread everything and it’s lasted forever!! Thank you for cute ideas
Amazing kitchen items. Thanks for sharing!
