- Welcome back,in this video we take a look at some of the finishers that got downgraded or upgraded animations in wwe games. It includes punt kick,stunner,the last ride,claymore and more. I used wwe 2k24 for the recent animations. Do like and sub for more.

It’s funny that most of your “downgraded” ones are better. Eddie’s Frog Splash and the Trouble in Paradise namely.

Yeah, Eddie's old frog splash annoyed me to no end. The new one is a massive improvement.
The new one looks more like how Eddie does it. The old one looks like Seth Rollins doing it. Hogan’s legdrop too. New one looks more like how Hogan does it.

2k14 had the best looking finishers.. loved the spears the f5s and stunners. Had so many variations to 1 move
For the Last Ride, I actually liked it before 2k upgraded it.
I wish they would bring that old lost in the woods move back
Nah man the old Clothesline From Hell was so much better than the new one with the Billy Gunn sell
The new Eddie Frog Splash looks better, only missing theatrics.
Ngl I like videos like this… crazy to see how animations changed over the years for the good and bad
They absolutely ruined RVD and Booker's finishers. I've started using another frog splash as an alternative for RVD and the only other variation of the Axe Kick for Book.
Those people’s elbow animations are the same
the main problem with these new animations is that they look too generic, 2K should add some unique animations too with the taunt before or after they perform the move, like the Hulk Hogan leg drop or the Stunner
The best representation of the moves or finishers were those in the games WWE SmackDown SYM, HctP and the first SmackDown vs. Raw

I do disagree with some of these but agree with others. First off, the 619. I have no idea why people have an issue with the current version. We ALL have been begging for YEARS for the 619 to be able to be cancellable so we can do different dives to end the sequence. And people hate that they decided to make it a signature. I don't get why. The 619 is the kick which he never wins with. He wins with a splash. What else should they have done? Kept it as a finisher? You could only have 2 when he came back. The 619 is an upgrade.
The Last Ride I'm not really sure on. The impact and pin is an upgrade. The rest of the move is a downgrade for me. I don't know how the Spear is a downgrade.
Claymore is a slight upgrade but i do wish that the taunt was more accurate to Drew's. It's like Zack Ryder's Broski Boot where the animation looks lifeless. It needs tweaking.
Punt Kick... the move is an upgrade. Its just the sell is bad. It needs updating to be a bit more vicious and accurate. But it is an upgrade as it's more accurate to the general performance.
Trouble in Paradise is also kinda odd. It is an upgrade but it's also a downgrade because you can't run into for some reason. I don't know why.
Eddie's Frog Splash and Hogan's Leg Drop as an animation, is an upgrade. It just sucks that there isn't a variation with the taunts. I wish some moves had a toggle if you want the theatrics on or off. Same with the Coup De Grace. I'd rather be able to toggle it off rather than just randomly being removed.
The current Clothesline from Hell I'm also conflicted. I'm just not fond of the current animation.
And additional one, Current Rock Bottom, Downgrade. Last animation was better. I think that the current one is a worst Rock Bottom animation we ever had. Half of it is the Rock hitting a Rock Bottom, the other half is the Rock getting tripped by John Cena.
The old lost in the woods is not better lmao and the coup de grace is the same just without the taunt

I’m a little confused and a bit curious as to what is the criteria for judging the upgrade or downgrade status. Because some of the ones that say downgraded actually look better than the original or there was no noticeable difference. Dope video concept tho.🔥 🙏

The Last Ride is a downgrade. The one before had more impact and Undertaker held the opponent in the air much longer than the game does now.
New stunner for vince is better the other one is stone colds it looks like
The Future Shock looked waaay more violent in the older games with the jump
619 is better now, the running animation since WWE'12 was lame af in my opinion
I miss the old punt with ringside finishers you would think they would add it back.
