2k should update these unique counters so that the wrestlers can sell them accurately
I'm not gonna play a wrestling game that feels like mortal Kombat, so I'll stick to 2k19 for a bit.

@@SpiralSkylines LOL what, 2k19 is the only good game out of the bunch 2k15-2k20, so yes. i agree with those being awful. But 2K19 is easily and without a doubt the best 2K wrestling game ever made. 2K24 has no way to pace your matches at all, it's so boring and terribly paced. 2K19 has accurate and real chain wrestling to start the match off. Also working/rest holds are amazing for pacing mid match too. 2K24 has no way to pace. As for actual matches, 2K19 has such a graceful system. Hold A/X to STRONG grapple, just tap to light. Easy. 2K24? fighting game. Your character literally gets into a fighting stance (LOL?) and the game has combinations to get to a single ender. This system is inaccurate and really weird. And one of my biggest points here. 2K22-24 have horrible submission systems. There is no skill involved with 2K22-24, you just need to cheese and spam enough damage. In 2K19 the system was new, refined, fun. You had to run or chase the red or blue to escape or submit. It was like UFC mechanics. Actual skill was involved against AI. ALSO, the roster. 2K19 has the best wrestling roster out of the entire series (WWE 2K15-WWE 2K24). 2K19 had promos that sure, were cringe.. sure, were really cheese and wonky (in my experience, no..?), but it was actually EASY to turn someone heel or face, or advance a rivalry. Also, promos are one of the most important things in all of WWE, even wrestling. They aren't in 2K22-2K24. Rivalry Actions is a boring and broken system. If i wanna cash in on roman, why not just let me do it after the match like EVERY OTHER game from 2K15-2K20? Why is it a rivalry action? Why do i have to click random and sometimes out of place actions just to get a CHANCE for my character to turn face or heel? About booking, if i'm the WWE Champion in 2K19, i'm main eventing SmackDowns and ppvs. If i'm the WHC in 2K24, i might be lucky to get a match. 2K22-2k24 had terrible fighting game wannabe esque features. 2K24 only has the moves updated (again, because of the fighting game wannabe theme) and updated roster (which is only comparable when 2 good games are in the question, only one of 4 here.). By the way, 2K24 has phenomenal blitz locked to AJ Styles. This is really weird and unfortunate. Know what game doesn't have it locked? 2K19.
TL;DR: your comment has no basis and therefor, is wrong. 2K19 has the best roster of all games 2K and better gameplay and submission system.

@@goldenproductsions2953 2K18 was basically an outdated 2K19 so, i guess i could see why. I also have never played it but i don't see a need to when i have 2K19.
2K should do this where if you reverse a certain move it counters into a finisher
Kinda like WWE 12-2k14 if you reverse a punch you can reverse it into a finisher
The next game needs better selling. Its ridiculous when they get right up, it also makes multi man matches very difficult

Thats because unfortunately, the game doesn't see these reversals as finishers. They do has much damage has a basic suplex, and if it happens when both wrestlers have a lot of health left, they get up quickly

These type of reversals should be allowed to custom superstars too
I think people are really missing out on the actual combo potential of these games. Even with CAW movesets you can do sick combinations. I remember creating a character who in their moveset they could do a backflip dropkick into a spear.
Are these actuall finishers getting hit, or just moves getting hit that just to happen to be their finishers

It would be interesting if you can Do a reversal after your finisher has been reversed. Gives more a fair chance for both parties

2K should add finisher reversals, where if you're able to counter a move into a finisher, then you could end the match like that, example, an RKO counter from the curb stomp should cost 2 finisher bars instead of one, so people don't actually spam it, it can be countered but not with a finisher
the way they get up immediately is such bs they need to add more downtime to moves off the top etc

Some of these reversal are avalanche finishers, but the opponents no-selling them and standing straight away 😂.

Maybe a reverse Glitch button would work better! Hit the button perfect... nothing ...hit it late perfect reversal! Not to mention "insert glitch or bald bug or simply them taking a P!ss on universe mode.. Reverse that greed 2k and focus on what we Fing want.. but nope they want the slot machines of MY TEAM.. or I mean MYFACTION to drain our piggy banks.. Its so sad this game is/was fun and had amazing potential.

As cool as these are, the lack of selling kills it. Then again, the lack of selling has always been an issue for these games.
