Red Kite (Milvus milvus, isohaarahaukka) 10.7.2024 Tuorla, Kaarina, SW Finland

This 2-minute footage shows a Red Kite early in the morning as it wakes up and preens itself, getting ready for the day's hunt. Filmed from about 450 meters away. Although Red Kites are becoming more common in Finland, this was my first observation of one in July.
