@@peggypeggy5832 I mean I would put an AC/DC cd on my computer, then use this software to mute the guitar so I could pretend to the guitarist for AC/DC
Good luck with that. I bought DeepRemix and have been pretty disappointed with the result so far. I have a feeling reviewers chose the tracks that work well, which is a bit misleading to me.
Terrific product and review. What I would have liked to have heard is what it is like taking out vocals. And also transposing the resultant backing track down a few tones for those of us who can't sing the high notes!
It is absolutely worth the $300 (the RipX DeepAudio version). I bought it when it used to be called Infinity. I knew the software had potential to be a powerful sound design tool.
Can you extract one single instrument, for instance, a guitar solo, as a music sheet, which could be reviewed and studied in another program such as guitar pro? That would be fantastic.
You may be able to after spending days cleaning off all the other instruments and artifacts. So far I'm extremely disappointed. Maybe it will get better with more experimenting. I may upgrade to DeepAudio to see if I can get rid of more artifacts.
So far I've tried about a dozen 60s, 70s & 80s songs and haven't had any luck at all. I'm considering spending $99 more to upgrade to DeepAudio for the "cleaning" feature. Hope I'm not just throwing more money away. Most reviewers seem to get much better results right off the bat but I think it's because most them used their own home recordings from DAWs. I would have absolutely no reason to rip my own songs that I still have separate tracks of!
When I have a recorded song, say by The Rolling Stones, I’m having a difficult time separating the piano from the guitar. Even though they say you can edit the guitar and save it on its own track who can make sense of the digital noises that used to be notes. The sounds don’t even sound familiar anymore to be able to recognize which is a guitar or the piano. It’s a lot of hodge podge and a complete mess.
My mate used to do this in the 70s using a really good graphic equalizer and reel to reel tape recorder. He made incredible remixes and extended versions of songs he copied from records. He was an amateur DJ. The only thing this does is make it faster, but I would say it's quite a bit less accurate in separating the tracks.
I wish it separated the guitars better. I could hear a rhythm guitar in the track, but the software didn’t make it apparent. That’s the sort of thing that I’m looking for. Hey Joe should have been the demo track to pull apart.
I do like but I found when doing my guitar teachers song which is instrumental it detected some guitar parts as violin which was weird but after messing with it figured it out.
OK then ,do it with like a Doobie Bros tune . Not your own tune . Not your own recordings That's easy . Like maybe the flute part from Locomotive Breath . Thank You Cool .
Awesome. Just found and subscribed to your channel. I enjoyed the insights you provided. What a powerful software. I can remix my old songs without getting into Logic. Who would have thought 🥹 Thanks
unbelivable this has been my dream
Ironically, If I buy this software, the first thing I would do is jam along to AC/DC. It's like you made this video for me!
what do you mean by jam along to AD/DC ?

You can re tune and tempo. You can literally grab a section of notes and slide it up or down to change the scale. Also can change the instrument!

Just got it. It's absolutely AMAZING!!!!
The playback visuals are stunning as well!
Nick-nice walk through brother!
Looks like a very useful bit of kit!
I like how you mentioned And Justice For All. I wonder how well it would separate something like that?

Great demo sold on this app. Also really nice guitar tone & playing.

Hammer on made me cry it soulful as hell. Sounds like someone singing. Solo killin
Very cool!

Is it possible to remove only the vocal of a song to make a karaoke version?
Nice great overview. Thanks :0)
Is there a way to add a 4 beat count before a track?

Where is this available to purchase?
on the Hit'n'Mix website.
I need a class on playing guitar
I just downloaded it and I'm trying to use it but it won't unless I pay I'm just wondering is this a demo version or did you have to pay for it?
Also important: Take out only guitars but not vocals

I use Izotope RX9 to demix and remix imbalanced 1960s recordings.
