- New Hampshire social worker Kim Fairbank, 51, always knew she was adopted. After a rough childhood of familial disappointments, she yearned to connect with her biological family. She tried DNA testing and waited for answers. It was MyHeritage DNA that brought Kim the match of a lifetime - with her biological father.
Can we talk about the amazing style of this man?...he's one of the coolest grandpas ive ever seen

My first thought was “What a handsome father she has!” But I wasn’t surprised because she’s so pretty.
The look he gave his grandchildren was pure pride. A true father and Grandfather.

I was given up for adoption when I was a few months old. I met my biological parents when I was 16. I totally understand the nervousness. Wondering if you're going to be accepted by your family. I am thankful to God that I was accepted and stayed close to my Dad until his death in 2012. And I still remain close to my Mom. It is definitely a blessing.
You can tell how happy he is, just by the time he takes to just look right into there face and soak it in, longer then a typical glance, Its almost like an imprinting moment
I have an older sister that found me thru the same site and it's absolutely breathtaking.
After hugging his grandkids did you hear him say “I am definitely blessed”. And he surely is because he had no other children!,
I am 47 years old and will be meeting my biological father for the first time on May 31, 2019 at the Ontario Airport in CA at 9:45 am.

I did my DNA best thing I did,my father we believe sadly is dead but have contact with my cousins in the USA,I am from the UK..Its been a great help.

It blows my mind, that adoption can be seen in a negative light. I’m 64 and I’ve been treated weirdly by my family and extended family 🙄🙄🙄( except for dad! Now I truly loved/ still love him)

I was just watching this lying down on my bed my tears went to my ears, didn't realize it at all. Got emotional i didnt see my kids for 8 years

It's all heart warming to watch but I got mixed feelings at the end.. The father come across as a fun person and all but his comment "you know, it was one of those things.", made me laugh but at the same time also very sad and I find it also inapropriate as well..

I don't think it was inappropriate. He didn't say it was a one night stand. Kim understands that her birth parents didn't have a serious or long relationship. The important thing is that he is accepting of her and they seem to be off to a good start. I hope they can find her Mom.

Yes, it makes you wonder. Did her Mom lie to throw him off if he decided to look for Kim? Or could Kim have a twin; or does her Dad have another child out there? I would say her Mom lied to be the easiest explanation but it's odd coincidence that a psychic said that a son was looking for him.
