Honestly, there are a whole lot of 'shoulda's' surrounding all his trials. The price for bringing a former POTUS to trial. I'm sure there are a lot of details, but this *is* a first. Trying to accommodate him w/o losing all integrity. It would be nice if our justice system were equal across the board, but it isn't, and it's impossible to change it from the ground up right now. Maybe someday in the future. I hope so anyway. Our justice system has always aimed at non-white non-males. Anyone else has always had the worse end. From the forming days of our country. Right now, money can fix anything, legally speaking. Trump doesn't have much of that at this point (hence his 2nd-rate lawyers who keep making costly mistakes). He does have a whole lot of solid and corroborated evidence against him tho. Crossing fingers!

Hearing the Rachel Maddow show on Serous radio, a great deal of discussion centered around trumps intentions around the hush money. If he did it to protect his wife from embarrassment it would be a lesser crime than if he did it to protect the campaign. They spoke at length on this and I wanted to shout to them. Since shouting at my radio is really not satisfying, I will "shout here in the hopes somebody will hear. Does no one remember the photo of Melania wearing a top that read "I don't care, do you?" That should settle the embarrassment issue.
