Love the fact that you explain every step very thoroughly. I can see why some videos breeze through steps that are trivial to save a minute or two, but as a beginner, it is sooo easy to miss even the easiest steps.
ur way in solving the newton method by using the calculator was amazing n u dont hw much it helped me... could u plz show us hw solve numerical methods using it plz....thnx
Oh beautiful. very good explanation. May you live a long life Full of gladness and health . May all God's blessings descend upon you. May peace be within you may your heart be strong. May you find what you're seeking wherever you roam.?
You know the odd occasion when you're dating a cute Math major and they ask you how to locate a root to 1 decimal place using the bisection method. You'd be glad this video exists!
ur method requires you to know if the function is concave down or up in the interval, had the function been negative slope, it would be wrong, u should use bracketing first.
Big thanks from Thailand! Very easy to understand with graphs you draw. This twelve minutes of video is worth watching. Also your accent is very easy to understand and catch-up. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much!!! The best video on Bisection Method I came across
That's great and thanks. Pleased it helped you.

Why do instructors teach math in such a cryptic manner? Why can't they just explain things in a way that is easy to grasp? Thank you so much!
Cuz teachers get off on making math sound more confusing then it really is
Finally someone who speaks understandable English!!

Thank you from here in my office in Watford.
This was almost therapeutic.
Good luck.

Glad it was helpful!

Thank you my mathematical saviour
awesome!!!!
It was really helpful! Thank you very much:)
why would anyone do this?
You know the odd occasion when you're dating a cute Math major and they ask you how to locate a root to 1 decimal place using the bisection method. You'd be glad this video exists!
excellent tutorial from BD
Thanks from North korea :(
Peace and warm wishes to you
It's almost like a binary search!
This is very good, but using newton's method gets us a more accurate result faster. 0.771 would be more accurate.
Thankyouu from Egypt
This is was very helpful. Thanks a lot from Nigeria
just relax, i can hear that youre trying to speak like some news guys but just chill...speak normally.
Then the root would be between 0 and 0.5
is it just me? or he sounds incredibly like neville longbottom (Matthew Lewis)
Thank you! I'm from Jamaica and I have my math exam on Thursday and this really helped!
% error = error / real value x 100
You can't pronounce R's. Very annoying, but thank you nonetheless.
I nearly feel asleep to this video, not because it was boring but because his voice is so soothing

Thanks alot👍
No problem. Thanks for watching and best wishes at this time.
Thank you!! this was really helpful :)
Please help to solve the problem below:
?)Solve x^3 - 9x + 1 = 0 for the root between x=2 and x=4 by bisection method.
Can we also take f(0.9) please tell me my exam is tomorrow ☹️
usefull bless u sir
Extremely helpful sir... Just loved it😘😘😘... From India
Many thanks for watching. Greetings too from the UK.

Explanation is not good enough. You should retake the video.
Thanks for your support
Thank you for the patient illustration. No one could fail to understand it after watching this!
The function has a root between 0 and 1. The equation has a SOLUTION between 0 and 1.
Fantastic video. 11 years later and still helping engineering students everyday! Bless you!
Thank you very much sir. It was easy for me to understand this method; from Malaysia.
Nope
What about using the derivative to find additional roots?
What if your equation uses 11 iterations to find the root, how can you quickly find the answer
Thank you brother for that amazing video. I wish you all the best
Cool
what a boring method. newton Raphson method is better.
Suppose the interval is not given, hw do you find the intervals before drawing the curves
In a question like this, the interval would generally be given. The idea behind these questions is to attempt to locate the root, not the interval.
Thank you.
However, it takes too much work to find more than 1 zero using bisection method. :)
Please what application or device was used for creating such audio-visual training
Cheers
Thank you from Afghanistan :)
Muhammad Sulaiman Stanekzai Good to see we are going round the world. Maths is a universal language.

Sir I didn't understand that till where we need to keep finding points...?
I finally understand this. Thank you so much.
It's indeed the best video I have seen so far on Bisection method.
