How do I know if i need a new ecu or if I just need to tune it
My ecu has a code not sure if its fixable i believe it has water damage from a windshirld leak i had car runs but has check engine do u guys fix ecu or i should just buy a used one nd replace it??
If I remove the ecu and put it back after 5 minutes do I need to relearn it ? Program it ?
Hey quick question. Rumor goes that if you remove your ECU and try to hook it back up it won’t start ? Unless you reset it with a tool? That has to be a lie right?
Correct, that is false. There should be no issues disconnecting the ECU, putting it back in, and starting the vehicle.

@@alvarosilva957 no water leakage killed it you can't clean water damage from an ecm I know this is a year old but for anybody else that runs by this problem just no

what if i disconnect my stock ecu and plug in a tuned ecu, should everything work just fine after i reprogram my key fob? i have a 2013 g37 and wanting to switch to a 08 ecu tuned on uprev

There’s a video on that it’s because of throttle body either get a new one , clean the old one or reset it by a video here on UA-cam it’s called “reset throttle body on g35 coupe”

Would a 3" intake using the stock diameter MAF housing need the +$300 add-on?
If the MAF area is the same diameter as stock it would not require the additional upcharge for oversized intakes since it doesn't require rescaling the MAF when tuning.

Do you always increase Rev limit with UpRev if you choose the option to send the ECU for a tune? I read 50-50 that you should never touch the rev limit, but if you do, are we talking about 100rpm? 500?
It depends on what car we're tuning, if we're talking about an HR engine we'll usually turn the revs up to around 7800. We'll never turn the limiter up past a safe area for the engine.
Sorry to ask this guys , does anyone know why car my is sputtering around 2500 rpm , cant even go past 65 mph with out it jerking me in my seat , 2003 g35 coupe de , thanks guys

You need to reprogram the ecu my g35 was doing the same when I replaced the engine
Olman Castillo How did you reprogram the ecu???? This start happening when I replace my engine too, my car goes up to 78mph and 3000 rpm. I also have engine code for crankshaft (P0335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit), does the code also came up after replacing your engine.

Olman Castillo oh okay👌, the shop that replace my engine did a shitty job so am definitely not returning my car back to them, I guess I have to find another shop and pray they know what they are doing

So I just send it to ya and you tune it? Then send it back and that’s it?
If the are able to do that, yes. that is one of the options to get UpRev on it. the cheapest one too because you will not need to buy the cable etc. Will probably miss 1-3 hp because they flash a pre-made one depending on your mods and that's it. but you'll save like 500 on it
What’s the cost for the mail in tune? Got an appointment with Robert- if I can mail it in I won’t make the drive over..
The base cost is $300, (assuming you have already have an UpRev license on your car.) We highly recommend dyno tuning over mail-in options, the mail-in service really is intended for those who don't have an UpRev tuner near them.

Flashing the ECU with UpRev allows your car to be tuned using their software.
This is the most vague fucking video. What models??? What years??? Wth Z1😂 I have a 2016 Infiniti q50 RS and it’s not there and can’t find any information on where it’s located at……. Any help? A tuner here new to Infiniti’s

If I wanted to change my 2008 g37 ecu to a 2009 ecu is it just plug and play?
