Yeah. As a woman I didn't slow down and something hit my wrist and forearm and it really hurt for a long time. I won't do that again. But what I need to know is: Is there a power tool to take the jacks off the truck more quickly?
Are these maintenance free or is there a grease joint?
I'm thinking 18 volt drill, or do you use impact driver?
Do you know if this is a cable system? I assume that's what they meant by mechanical but wanted to check, trying to avoid the hydraulic type due to maintenance.
These are mechanical jacks. Driven with a small gear inside of the jack. (no cables and no hydraulics for these particular type of camper jacks).
Are those 4 Wheel brand mechanical jacks? If not, what brand are they?
We use camper jacks from "Reico Titan". They have worked great for us. Simple & reliable.
Can the camper be used while it is only supported by jacks?
Hi, we recommend using a couple saw horses or criss-crossing some plywood to keep the camper steady.
2 people & 2 drills much faster. No twist on camper, either.
It’s only good if the camper it’s on the truck and put the jack down this is a light camper doesn’t work if you try to lift A full-size camper
yes it does, I do it often with my 18 volt drill.
