Today I listened to their album Condition for the first time in like 10 years. Still one of my favorite album. Love them so much. The singer's voice is incredible.
Greatest singer EVER. I get that music is subjective. Let's get that out of the way now. I have over 10,000 albums across all genres. On top of that I have nearly 1 terabyte of music. That equates to probably over 250,000 songs from opera, jazz, metal, pop, EDM, hip hop, funk, just every genre you can think of but this guy, this guy, Dougy Mandagi is THE best singer I've ever heard. I can't believe anyone can sing like this. Phrasing, pitch, tone, vibrato it's so damn good. And on top of that I'm so happy the he's ambitious and he'll go he's own way and I for one can't wait to hear what's next. Go boys loving what you're doing.
i am still disgusted this song only got number 22 on (australia's) triple j hottest 100 of 2012. when i listened to all the songs websites were saying would be high i picked this at least in the top 5. this song is so much better than mackmore - thrift shop imo (which got number 1)
I so agree. This band is so good. There are so few bands that I cycle through like TTT and my favourite songs with them change almost daily and that's a sign of a really good band. One minute it's Need Your Love, next it's Resurrection, next it's Love Lost, next it's Burn, next it's Fader, next it's...I think you can see where I'm going with this. But I'm gonna arch it up even more. I have over 100,000 songs in my collection and I love them all. But there are some bands that are a little bit, well, elite for a range of different reasons. I listen to classical music for example and it's towering. I listen to metal (saw Tool this year and they were amazing) then I can switch to EDM in a heartbeat and love it. Then there's The Temper Trap. So, I first heard this wonderful band in 2009. Like everyone I came to them through Sweet Disposition but being a music nutcase thought I'd check them out further. Bought their first CD (yeah it was CDs back then) and was blown away. I've bought everything they've done since and just when I don't think they can get better they do. What a band. Such great songs and arrangements. They're multi instrumentalists and really good at constructing a song. But they go further than that. In my extensive collection of music this band are at the top. There's so much in their canon and it's a delight. I wish this band the best cuz they are so damn good. Well done boys and keep it coming cuz I'll always be amazed by you, thank you.

I didn't. I heard Dougy. I love Freddie, vocally and as a human being but Dougy is not Freddie. Dougy has a voice that's hard to describe. For me Dougy is better and that's saying something.
