Hello Hector! You can apply oil or grease just to slide the fuel pump into the houses and on the rubber pieces that need lubricant to slide on. Don’t add too much just surface lubricant just to make the job easier but no to cause issues of thing sliding out because over lubricated. Take well care Hector!
Hello Penelope! The fuel filter is integrated with the fuel sending unit. The fuel filter is inside the fuel tank. Sending unit, fuel pump and fuel filter is one unit. You can buy the fuel filter by itself and replace it by removing it from the fuel tank. We will make a video about this to help other on this fuel filter replacement. Take well care Penelope! Toyota dealership should carry this piece. However, they are usually very expensive. Sometimes you have to pay in order to get a proprietary part.

where is the FUEL FILTER, located on 2004 Corolla
were there no gasket with the top O metal plate? Most cars have that to be replace everytime the tank is opened. Just asking.

Very instructional but it needs to be mentioned always before doing any repairs on a car the negative of the battery should be disconnected.
