Dude I’m just finding youre channel. You’re a hidden gem. Love your videography style and how quickly you proceed through it all without watered down explanations.
Thank you For you effort and time ! I've been told Ferrocene synthesis is a test of skill (even though we routinely use ultra low liquid Nitrogen temperatures in labs which are way tougher). I sure learned a lot by your video. Its so heartening to know so many Chemists like this author upload detailed videos such as this; though they may never be monetised. I salute you friend. I am located in Pune India . You truly are one of the many Gems which occasionally get discovered.
Very nice synthesis! The only time I've made this compound was from the decomposition of [CpFe(CO)2]2, and that was an awful reaction- both the synthesis of the dimer and the decomposition. Trying to filter out the product from a solution that seemed a cross between motor oil and tar....
Definitely a nice trophy chem to have! I'll likely make some acetylferrocene once I have a little Ac2O. I plan to make some more sensitive metallocenes once some new glassware I ordered arrives!
Cool, you must be from Quebec or Ontario Hmm Prolab scientific it a good company for chemicals but expensive! Do you know what caused the massive loss in the product. Interesting indeed.
the stop motion section of the apparatus assembly is amazing! and what a pretty chemical!!

I just found it now, very cool!
Same here, what a refreshing dose of great chemistry!

The stop motion self assembly of the apparatus was neat, I enjoyed it. Thanks
Amazing video as usual! Really loved the stop motion animation haha
That part is amazing!
Honestly creative stuff
You are so underrated, man! It just breaks my heart. Please don’t stop filming. We love your videos!
Liszt! Brilliant music! And chemistry!!!! 👍
love the artistic animations and music
Very good choice of music and an interesting video, thanks
Beautiful. Simply beautiful.
Give this boy some love. I am right now writing a protocol and forgot the colour sequence u safed my life. 🙌
Great video! Great music having the Hungarian Rhapsody in the background ;)
I can smell the synthesis coming from this video
just stumbled upon your channel and beautiful work and the stop animation was GREAT! I look forward to binging your videos ;p
Awesome video , having a lap practical abt this in a few weeks , helps a lot!
@3:03 Where can I buy that special self-assembling apparatus? Excellent chemistry channel, by the way! It seems to have eluded me- until now!

thank you very much for the video, this video really help me with my study. because I cannot go to lab since pandemic. keep going!!
the music makes it even more interesting
...and lovely music.
2:59 great stop animation!
Nice work, and well presented.
Fume hood and gloves, please!
Why is cyclopentadiene a restricted substance here in Taiwan lol.
A seriously cool compound. Have you any plans for it besides a well-deserved place among your trophy chems?
Definitely a nice trophy chem to have! I'll likely make some acetylferrocene once I have a little Ac2O. I plan to make some more sensitive metallocenes once some new glassware I ordered arrives!
Good job
where do you even get the dycyclopentadiene?
Awesome video! What's ferrocene?
Nice video
This is pretty amazing. Earned a new patreon ;-)
Please do not dispense chemicals with bare hands!
Nile Red Beaker?! 😀 I didn't know that he sales beakers under his own brand.
What's in the canisters

I wonder why you do not use an oil-bath for heating. It would increase your heating surface and safe you some time. Nice Video anyways.
3:00 wow..
03:00 scarry animation in Jan Švankmajer-style :D
Stannocene is a bit boring...it's a white powder.
well done. your yield isnt that good... next time do a solvent recrystallization
Grow bacteria and, test hand sanitizer.
very clean
@corrosive chemistry can I have your mail id?would like to discussion with you regarding few projects for scalability .
