Dwayne was never a Starter and Sapp never took his Job. Sapp was a Starter Day One and Dwayne was rarely on the Field when Sapp was there. I've been a Canes fan since the mid Seventies. I watched it play out in person.
Every time Warren Sapp opens his mouth,it makes you appreciate the class of 99 percent of the hall of famers in all of pro sports. He has had chances on network tv and movies but he always finds a way to screw it up and now he's doing a podcast which I believe you can do in your basement. I hope he find something to do besides talk about being a hall of famer.
First of all, I don't recall anyone ever insinuating that the Rock was a great player at Miami. The fact that there only one highlight that they ever show with him making that one sack indicates how good he was. This whole line of questioning is just Eisen trying to get funny responses from Sapp.
Y'all need to watch the ENTIRE interview. This conversation started because Dwayne "The Rock" has been LYING about his accomplishments at Miami. Telling his heroic Football stories all over Hollywood that never happened. Sapp called him out on it.
Rock has even stated in his book he wasn't the greatest football player just that he was a hard worker..... Even so "The U" was on top of the world during that period so they weren't exactly just handing out scholarships for the hell of it

No shame in it. "Dewey" probably would have played a lot if not started at many programs. But back the. The U was DEEP in D lineman. Dwayne was most famous for chasing the SD St mascot after their fight game. That was about as much field time as he saw that year.
Nothing to do with that, if "the Rock" was as good at Miami as Sapp or even better he'd have been All Pro almost every year like Sapp, like him or not Warren will go down as one of the greatest defensive tackles of all time in the NFL

The Rock has always been very forward that he was behind Warren Sapp. He simply said he played at Miami, which is still impressive considering they were one of the best football schools in the country during that era. College football days are all Sapp has on The Rock, who is one of the richest and most successful people in Hollywood.

What is warden doing today besides hating nothing don’t care what u did in the past the rock is lit right now without the nfl
Mag Tinfal yea and he can go anywhere in the world even parts of America and wouldn’t be recognized. Can’t compare the two. Rock is a world figure who tries to do good with his fame. Whether through charity or being a motivational figure. Warren just distributes saltiness
He's a hof retired d lineman...get it right
ThaKronDon nobody knows warren sapp outside of the usa. The rock has million of people idolizing him all over the world. the rock is winning if you ask me
I know for a fact that the Rock either played next to him, or in relief of him in the '95 Orange Bowl against Nebraska. Maybe it's because Sapp was sucking wind so badly toward the end that the poor guy needed a rest...or, he just probably refused to remember that game all together. Sapp had 6 total tackles in that game to The Rock's 1.
Warren Sapp is a legend! He don’t give af about the rock, true definition of a successful man. Like Sapp said the rock gotta follow the script ;)
the rock is significantly more successful than sapp
@@DeosPraetorian I don’t give a damn who’s more successful. Sapp made the rock carry his bags 😂
He wasn't on that cycle when he was at the U. Of course he wasn't on the field. People seem to forget that Dwayne Johnson has only looked like this for less than 10 years.
NO ONE gets that big in their 40s without a few cycles....
He was asking.
All time hater right here!
No lies told. Both successful brothers. Respect.
