Sapp isn’t a stand up dude. I got me some personal interaction with him a few years back. He showed what kinda man he was. With that said, I grew up playing Tightend like him and I loved him growing up. Sad.
Welp, No one has, at least not that I've witnessed or heard of, loved on their players like CP... white or black?! This is what everyone is attracted to, especially professional athletes. They can only imagine what it could've been had someone not only cared about them as young men but poured into them knowledge and wisdom to increase their success rate in life be it a continuation to football's next level or not! The doing it unapologetically = icing on top! I expect to hear a lot more from Sapp as he's not going to allow anyone to deter from the love fest happening in Boulder, not even a lil bit! Bottom line to the guys understandable question is obvious... CU gave CP the reigns, none of these other schools were going to relinquish that kind of power for him to operate at optimal levels of effectiveness nor efficiency through love and service. It is a business, a business that he's proving can flourish with deserved respect and love for these young men!
Mind ya business. Once you mentioned other mens names it doesnt matter what you think or feel. They coach were they want too. None of anyones business. Who says u have to coach your almamater
I understand Clarrett. And he has a point. Clarett isn't trying to be a coach, thats the difference. But just because you come from a particular university doesn't mean that you automatically get to coach there. Especially when others have earned those opportunities. It wouldn't be right, to tell young men to earn what they get while you would be the living embodiment of usinig your privledge and position to get what you want.
Mo Clarett is always positive, he didn't mean no disrespect to no one. He was showing support and he always thinking about branding yourself and creating generational wealth. I feel like Sapp not smart enough to get the message. Not surprised. He already fumbled the bag once.
As a former Hurricane who lost(cheated) to Clarett's OSU team...I dont feel comfortable agreeing with him over my idol in Warren Sapp. However, he has much validity in his words...
I understand what he sayin all he sayin is Sapp and Reed shouldn’t have to go to Colorado to coach when they did so much for a university. Same with Deion he should have been coach at FSU
Well I think there will be alot more hall of famers coming back to coach seeing what prime is doing so when coaching positions open up look for schools to start reaching out to former big name players that played for them it a new direction
The issue is that Mo Clarrett has nothing to do with any of the programs, so he should have kept his mth shut. My issue is instead of celebrating the victory of graduating and being hired by Colorado for Warren Sapp, he added the unnecessary comment, which negates anything positive that he said. For Sapp to get hired with is past is a great thing because it is another redemption story
I see nothing wrong with Mr. Clarett's statement. He was really asking the University of Miami why would you not hire these two men to help the university out. Which is what Coach prime has done to make Colorado who they are as we speak. As far as Mr. Reed he is right looking at social media assuming he was going to be hired or seeking employment by UC was just put out in the air and Mr. Clarett assumed he either was seeking or UC was going to recruit him. But that's what social media does. But all in all Mr. Clarett clearly met no Ill will towards Mr.Reed Or Mr. Sapp.
It’s up to those players where they want to Coach. Would they have been welcomed and have the same voice they have in Colorado with Coach Prime? I would rather go with Coach Prime. He’s the difference maker not anyone at Miami. Deion Sanders is a huge brand like it or not. Coach Sapp made the correct decision.
Maurice Clarett should have questioned or direct his comments directly at The University of Miami. If former players seek employment address it. If your school doesn't take you serious move on to the next one. I like to use the example of Micheal Jordan. Jordan wanted to get a deal with Addidas but Nike gave him the offer. The rest is history. I rather see these former player make a honest living.
I agree with one part of what Clarett said I as a fan enjoy seeing people coach at their Alma Maters however that’s not the way coaching and jobs work! If he’s given a chance to coach with Prime the most talked about College football program which in the Nation which is on the rise! despite the bad record! And with no evidence proving he was ever offered any legit type of coaching position at Miami! Why would you speak on something you don’t know? And also coaching at that level is a career and a business decision! Who would turn down the opportunity to be a part of something great like coaching with Prime? That’s the part Clarett is missing!

No, player owe a school a damn thing. Stop with the B.S... Students are the customers & the Product!!!!
ED has a very valid point on that people should not always believe what they hear or see on the internet. But also ED really should know by now that everything doesn’t require a comment.
I understand what he means and he said it with respect
My understanding is Miami isn't all that good to some of its athletic alumni I mean no tickets, no invites, no recognition. If you google you will find what I'm talking about. Think about it Did Miami reach out to Sapp or Reed? Did they decline? You can on ly marry her if she says I do.
Post script, Maurice Ku as hell.
Ed Read is looking for head coach job therefore CU is out that's not MC's point his point is these D1 schools don't want to hire Black coaches even though it would-be to there advantage this in no way a dis to Sappp or Reed they're taking it the wrong way same as a lot of people in these comments it shows a lot of poor reading comprehen sills of anyone who took this as a negative comment towards Reed or Sapp
MC is just saying D1 schools won't even give qualified Black coaches the opportunity period !
We are our worst enemy, why couldnt he just leave it at congratulation on the pose?
Everyone is so sensitive. Nothing he said should offend them.
Claret needs his Goose 🪿
Ohio st Can’t Win!
What you think don’t matter. B1
Well that’s University of Miami loss. I’m sure Sapp would have been honored to help his former school but they didn’t reach out. 🤷🏾♂️
Live long and prosper, to all who believe❤
No he don't have a point he don't have a point! If they wanted people to do that they should have had Deion Sanders himself primetime did they hire Mr Sanders no so they get what they get and that's nothing
Where was Miami before and why didn't Miami reach out before Prime. And, all alumni will not be employed at there school. You'll eventually have to seek employment elsewhere
Warren Sapp went to Miami, but he feels he doesn't he owes Miami anything, nor do they owe him anything outside of his playing for and fulfilling his scholarship!! The samething for Ed Reed he doesn't go off of speculation those guys wants to pour knowledge into those kid's not help a team just because they played for and fulfilled their scholarship obligations with!!
✔️ CHECK AND CHECK MATE 💯
Maurice chilled, and Warren graduated from college because of Prime. Know has an opportunity to work with a Black coach in college FBS. Nothing but love, no haters allowed.
It’s allllll ways-a black nugget to talk down about another black nugget if your life didn’t turn out how you wanted it then that’s your fault stop trying to knock ✊🏽 the next man down 🤡👺🦀
Sapp isn’t a stand up dude.
Who says u have to coach your
almamater
I understand Clarrett. And he has a point. Clarett isn't trying to be a coach, thats the difference. But just because you come from a particular university doesn't mean that you automatically get to coach there. Especially when others have earned those opportunities. It wouldn't be right, to tell young men to earn what they get while you would be the living embodiment of usinig your privledge and position to get what you want.
We see the change in the defense, and Warren Sapp has them boys believing in themselves....Its amazing to watch..
Mo Clarett is always positive, he didn't mean no disrespect to no one. He was showing support and he always thinking about branding yourself and creating generational wealth. I feel like Sapp not smart enough to get the message. Not surprised. He already fumbled the bag once.
I agree with Maurice
A Coach should never respond to distractors
IT HIT HOME WITH WARREN SAPP THATS WHY HE RESPONDED LIKE HE DID! SOMETIMES THE TRUTH HURTS!😮
Maurice is right but the people in charge in Miami have to make that move to bring those HOFers in
There is not a Power 5 team that will have that many NFL coaches and MVPs coaching, Stop playing.
I don’t think Maurice’s opinion should’ve warranted that response from Sapp.
I actually concur with Clarett.
We don't know what's going on behind the scenes! So the best thing to do is reach out to them to get an understanding or hold your peace.
Well I think there will be alot more hall of famers coming back to coach seeing what prime is doing so when coaching positions open up look for schools to start reaching out to former big name players that played for them it a new direction
Was that the Rich Eisen Show? LoL
Proven point made, some dummies can't do anything but play sports Maurice opinion comes with the upmost respect
WHAT A MAN CHOOSES TO DO IS HIS BUSINESS. WHY WOULD CLARETT BE SO CONCERNED ABOUT WHAT THESE HALL OF FAMERS ARE DOING? IS HE JEALOUS? GET A LIFE.
it's sad that reading comprehension is nonexistant especially after sapp allegedly just received his "diploma". smh.
Miami sucks they had they chance to hired they legends they spit in they face every time so
Coming from Maurice……….. never mind 🚶🏿♂️🚶🏿♂️🚶🏿♂️🚶🏿♂️
Maurice has a point but if they chose to be a part Prime staff then they should go where they feel they're coaching would be most beneficial.
I agree with Clarett
I see nothing wrong with Mr. Clarett's statement. He was really asking the University of Miami why would you not hire these two men to help the university out. Which is what Coach prime has done to make Colorado who they are as we speak. As far as Mr. Reed he is right looking at social media assuming he was going to be hired or seeking employment by UC was just put out in the air and Mr. Clarett assumed he either was seeking or UC was going to recruit him. But that's what social media does. But all in all Mr. Clarett clearly met no Ill will towards Mr.Reed Or Mr. Sapp.
Meanwhile Miami is 5-0🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
It’s up to those players where they want to Coach. Would they have been welcomed and have the same voice they have in Colorado with Coach Prime? I would rather go with Coach Prime. He’s the difference maker not anyone at Miami. Deion Sanders is a huge brand like it or not. Coach Sapp made the correct decision.
Being a man the truth shall make you feel
Maurice is correct. Don't jump on the bandwagon that Deion created, make a change and start your own
That's not a stupid comment at all he's correct with his statement about Sapp and Reed the U should be there first choice.
"Goddoggone" whoa- got me a new word! 😁
Hey smart guy. The Head Coach at UM played with most of those guys. He has his staff, and they are always on or around the campus/team. Yall mf just be posting shit
Trust when Florida state call Prime going
Sapp got Colorado defensive line is improving week to week, apparently Sapp is a good hire.
Alot of players don't have coaching history so Prime gave him a chance so hopefully in the future he has coaching history if Miami wanted to hire him.
