nice little osscilator - what is the result of putting different capcitor values parrellel across the base resistor?- some sort of filter i effect expect? what part does the 'full wave rectifier' aspect play in the process of the 'field effect' {if any} ?? for example what occurs if you just put a two single diodes at your 'AC output' marked section but with the 'triangle' facing each other ? is there then a difference?

When you need more power, simply add more mosfets to increase the current capacity. This is a very easy and efficient way to step up DC voltage easily. All you need is a PCBWAY DIY or how to guide, and you can have your very own boost converter in no time at all!

Not being a pain in the butt, just asking. Also, you need a capacitor across the output of the rectifier. The output will just be positive voltage spikes. The multi meter says it's 9 volts but that's the average of the spikes. The actual top of the spike could be around 12 volts. You could throw a massive capacitor between the two outputs and that would make it smooth dc or you could throw a smaller capacitor and a voltage regulator on the end but that's less efficient.
