This piece gave me the love for music when I first discovered it from Narada's Sampler #2 cassette tape in 1986! I was a college student then with limited budget, but I still am so glad I had spent $9 to buy the cassette from Tower Records on a Friday night in 1986! The best decision I made. Because of this piece, I had learned to play the piano and have been playing since then. I was SO glad to have found Narada published Spencer Brewer's pieces, including this piece as a piano solo in 1990 -- Narada's FIRST songbook! Yep, Spencer Brewer composed this piece for Eric Tingstad and Nancy Rumbel to play.

Thirty-five years ago, I played this song over and over during my pregnancy with my twin sons. It gave me such peace and comfort while I rested my palm on my lower abdomen and talked to those little angels developing there. Now, when I hear it - whew. I sob because those moments were the most beautiful I’ve ever experienced. After a minute, I relax and smile - grateful for so many things. But whew, this song and that memory - incredible.
My favorite Tingstad and Rumbel album. It is wonderful to relive those magical years when life was simpler, and new age was my soundtrack to that simple life. No worries, just dreams of the future... New Age and many of its musicians inspired me to become one and to write my own music. Someday I'll have the courage to upload them to UA-cam.... Thank you for this wonderful song, I still have my old Narada CD's, many of them. They're golden now!
I was pretty young when I first heard this album and it's stayed with me ever since. I'm so happy to find it again now. What luck that I remember the cover art and last name of one of the performers. I love this music.
This song is well remembered in Argentina, since it was used as background music of the marvelous micro radio program "One New Hour Starts" (Una nueva hora comienza), narrated by Martin Wullich, every time when Horizonte FM started a new hour in its programme, during late 1980s-early 1990s.
That one road, about a mile past the turnoff for the campground. Remember when we couldn't get the fire going? It was raining when we got there...sunny the next day.
Y es aqui cuando martin wullich dice : mientras tanto aqui en la gran ciudad , una nueva hora comienza . Aguante horizonte ( ahora por internet ) . Buen tema
Michael R I had an issue with the program I was using when I uploaded the album for all of you. I'm not sure why it added extra time to the tracks. It still annoys me. Lol. So I understand.
radio Horizonte! cuantos recuerdos! no puedo evitar una lagrima!
