Tbh I was disappointed in this episode. The logic just went out the window. If they had security cameras why didn't they check that before accsuing Jeff? Why does Charlie even have the security footage and no one else does or even acts like they knew they had cameras? Why is Charlie even an option over Dean, who has plenty of racing experience to replace Babe? Why is Alan making Charlie and Dean race Babe (who's too injured to race to begin with!) race against him to get on the team?! What happened this ep??
Also, Charlie is sounding a bit too winey and I think it's more obvious in this ep that Pooh's acting just isn't up to the same level as Pavel's. I mean, it's ok for the average BL we usually get, but when put up against Pavel he's a bit lacking. Pooh just kind of always does the sorta adorable begging face without too much range - not much anger or frustration to be seen. His voice just falls kind of flat with no depth. But I'm still enjoying the story despite this...odd episode

You are telling their story beautifully with this edit and one anyone can understand even without watching their story unfolds. I love how with a soft gaze you can see all the love Babe is feeling, how his features softened 1:08 as he was sure the boy wasn’t not lying to him as he was sure he could have him wholeheartedly again 2:21 and you can see Babe reacting to Charlie affection 1:16 1:18 2:36 and how the boy lingers, how his touches warm his skin 1:15 even without his presence there 1:22 and I absolutely love the “Stay” here 1:26 and how Babe is holding Charlie as he wants to feel him closer 1:29 how he goes for what he has been yearning for 1:31 and he’s again opening up to him 1:39 showing himself the way he is, being again this version 1:42 that Babe that grew up so fast, but someone who was soft and used to smile just because he could be in a car, learning how everything works. And being around Charlie allows Babe to resurface and Pit Babe to rest. Oh, I very much love this! Babe is so whipped for Charlie and when he thought Charlie had betrayed him (influenced by Way), he was hurting so much. The fact that he cared less for his car and more for Charlie's wellbeing STILL, is heartbreaking. And OH, the softness and happiness once he gets to kiss Charlie again are so good! Thank you for capturing all of that =^^=

I agreed with you about the footage point but for the replacement, I think Alan makes the right decision. Charlie always practices with Babe so no one ever witness his potential except Babe himself. If one of them can win against injured Babe, no one gonna say anything, if Charlie win Dean but lose to Babe, that’ll show his potential. Don’t forget that this race isn’t even an official, they just want someone who’s good enough to watch Way’s back in the official one.
There’s just so much logically that doesn’t make sense in this episode. And it’s done so well that I’ve held it at a higher standard than what they gave this week. But I’m still thoroughly enjoying it anyway!
I honestly feel bad for Pooh because Pavel's acting is just something else in thai bl dramaland XD But any edit with this song has me in a chokehold!

It doesn’t make sense in my mind for Charlie to be working against Babe. He’s offering to drive for Babe for the rest if the season. To me that means he has to try to win because if he loses you know someone on the team will find it suspicious or even make up some reason to get him kicked off. Charlie’s hands are shaking from the fear of letting down Babe and not from a fear of crashing. Charlie has also gone to great lengths to take care of Babe including cooking, bathing applying cream, trying to protect Babe from getting beaten using his own body, and running towards a burning car to pull out Babe. Charlie does seem to lack fear or maybe he’s fearless. He’ll say even the most outrageous things and he’s not afraid of the consequences. He seems to run into danger without once thinking of the consequences to himself. He’s not afraid to piss people off and has shown a willingness to fight and beat his opponent. He’s an alpha so clearly that has something to do with it.

Yes! That’s exactly how I feel. I think because we’re not getting a lot of story from Charlie’s perspective. It’s hard to get a good emotional bond for him and for him with babe. Even though I do really love the show!
