I loved them replaying the locker scene in reverse roles. Charlie enjoyed playing the cocky Babe and Babe couldn't stop smiling!
Though there are still a lot of issues, mainly as much as I ship these two I'm still looking for Charlies personality. His character is still falling flat and I think it's due to lack of background - and I'm sure that's done on purpose to keep his secrets hidden before the big reveal but it makes it hard to feel much for his character where Babe is really pulling their dynamic. Also I don't like how selfish Babe seems, the world just revolves around him. He doesn't ask nor seem interested in Charlie's life at all beyond Charlie being his fanboy. Last ep when Charlie mentioned growing up alone like Babe, dude didn't even try to ask more just was like yeah ok back to me....So their relationship feels very uneven. I'm hoping we'll get some more insight next week based on previews but I'm sure it'll just be more Babe upset and not trying to find the truth and Charlie refusing to give a straight answer...sigh...

I hope Charlie realises that he needs tp be honest with Babe. They are too deep in a relationship to keep secrets from him. I geT It he protects Babe,but Babe isnt so fragile or naive to not handle the truth

I loved them reenacting the locker scene because Babe wanted to go back to their beginning and see the difference between having $ex with someone whose body matched his own, someone whose scent was one he liked, someone who fit him to then make love with that same person who he wanted as his lover and I believe the series wants the audience to be just like Babe, discovering things about Charlie, because we are clueless about the boy and while I can understand Charlie is protecting Babe, he’s also playing with his emotions and we all know the man react strongly, so Charlie acting all suspicious and not letting him know anything lets a bad taste in everyone’s mouth, because you can see love in Babe’s face and how he’s giving himself to another person, that he has allowed himself to belong to someone else, to open up his heart to Charlie, letting him completely in, just for Charlie to keep acting as if he’s playing a game, not taking into consideration that he’s having all his hidden agenda with a person that has suffered the most in the past, someone that doesn’t want to be trapped and Charlie is trapping Babe in some kind of game that could leave the special alpha emotionally drained.
Another thing is that the series is poorly explaining that world. I read Omegaverse and throwing words like “Alpha/Enigma” and suggesting someone could be Mama or Papa (that was cringe to be honest) is so out of the blue and even Charlie doing that, asking Babe if he wanted to have children was underwhelming as it wasn’t the time nor place and I didn’t even understand that happening there even if I can understand what he’s talking about. And for God’s sake we shouldn’t have to go and read the novel to try and understand if the novel is being well adapted, but they are failing there imo. I’m still enjoying the series, it’s just the way is being explained. They can do better 😔
You are so right. I just read multiple comments on many videos asking since when did this become a fantasy drama. Isn't this a normal bl 😅 the makers didn't even say anything about it being an omegaverse in any promotional events
Agree that papa and mama was creepy. Also . Too soon to start talking about children out of the blue. Even for a straight drama. I don't even understand omegaverse and all the possibilities.

I think they wanted to keep it lowkey but for people who don't know omegaverse it must def be confusing. (I never heard of an enigma either tho) The special superpowers also came out of nowhere with Jeff. It doesn't bother me as much bcuz I think it will be explained in the later episodes or at least I hope that's why they leave us in the dark a bit to guess...the child question threw me off guard as well! Def a bit cringe but I them calling each other mommy and daddy is not the weridest thing to their dynamic to me for some reason 😅😭🤔
Agree! I just came to read omegaverse stories after watching the series "Enigma" and came to know what is enigma! The plot is entirely new in live action series!
You how hard is to recreate a scene from the novel or even adapted the serie from the novel ? Probably no , so don't get prejudiced just because some things aren't as you hoped. But then I want to understand, didn't you say you weren't reading the novel? But do you want to find out for yourself what will happen?

The novel is so great. jealousy, anger,love,possession ,guilt, lust,happiness, relationships everything portrayed so well . There's a lot of smuts but they show their emotions in them too. But series change & rush things pretty much , I understand its series so things will be different a bit but they should keep things a little slower nd deep. Oh yes and I wanted the pool ,racetrack & bathtub scene 🙃🙃🙃

Girl, you're fast as always! But you definitely picked out the cutest parts of the episode. The whole part with Papa and Mama was a bit too cringe for me. 😅 But I am finally getting the chemistry between them. Even if Charlie is still a bit bland as a character.
And I have to say that it took me forever to check that they were reenacting their first meeting in the locker room. At first, I was like "what are they saying?" 🤣

And I just kept wishing to the BL gods that they’d stop calling each other that but it kept going 😅 tbh I probably wouldn’t have edited them this week or last week. But I already had a good song choice to use and didn’t want it to go to waste! 🙈
@@Jatsuki Yeah, the cringe was for real. But at least it was not as bad as Puth and Kaeng from Y-Destiny. They were originally my favourite pair from this mostly disastrous series, but when they started calling each other Daddy at the end I had to fast forward because I was just too uncomfortable. 😭 At least with Babe and Charlie you can feel that they treat it as a joke themselves.

When I watched the 6th episode I had these parallels between episodes with roles changing in my head. It was so upsetting not to find smth like this in TT. So I'm really happy to find your edit! It embodies all love I got from the episode. I will be looking forward to more edits of CharlieBabe, especially when it is going to be a lot of pain in next episode
