This stuff doesn’t stop the noise because it doesn’t remove air from the system. Bleed the power steering system and/or remove trapped air BEFORE buying this. If the noise doesn’t go away, then it’s the pump that needs to be replaced.
That dust cover is broken and the inner bar will surely have been affected by corrosion. Imperfections in the chrome plating of the bar deteriorate the seals very quickly by having a file effect that causes them to lose material. In these cases, this and other products usually do not work, or if they do, their effect only lasts a few days.

I top it off with steering oil, the Lucas can be used as steering oil.

for my suv, the part it self cost 1300 dollars, if get it done by shop will cost 2500. It worked for me.
