Like I mentioned in the description, this is my first proper go at editing a long video, so I would love to hear what you all think of this - please let me know anything I should add/remove/change for a future video 😊
The doors in the centre of each carriage could cause problems on tight curved platforms, one example being Earlestown station on the Llandudno to Manchester service. The bogies are quite weak compared to other units in the TFW fleet. I myself much prefer the older units, by far.
When will it get put into use in other tfw routes The Cambrian Coast Line is recently undergoing a lengthy renovation reportedly it's a renovation fortification to allow the route to adapt to the 197s
it has recently been put on the Liverpool to Chester route as of this Monday, I believe its also in training to be put on the Llandudno/Holyhead to Manchester route too 😀

Not sure how I feel about the automated announcements... I kinda miss how the conductor would announce the stations.
they still have the ability to do that if they so wanted, but it’s all modern now as the announcements sync up with the PIS displays :)
That dinging when you went in the loo was the guard wanted to speak to the driver!
You should also do West Midlands Railway Class 196 that are identical to the Transport for Wales Class 197. As both units have been built by CAF.
i’ve been definitely considering that, they go from Shrewsbury and that’s easy to get to from where I live 😊
Ok. 👍
