I checked out your video because the Tundra looked awesome in the thumbnail and after watching the video I'm subscribed. That was a fun video, Tundra is awesome looking and even tho I'm single 😭it was cute seeing your anniversary and how you made it special for her. Also don't apologize for not knowing how to dance, you're making memories and that's all that matters! Alright I'm going to go on a watching spree of your vids now :D
Thank you! 🙏🏼 yea she loved the trip and we will remember it and re watch it forever! Yea dancing is not my thing for sure lol hope you enjoy the videos!
any chance you would share the coordinates/MGRS for the campsite on the bluff?? My wife and I have been looking to get out of town (Burleson) for a trip to the Hill Country and that spot looks AMAZING!
Dude! I have watched 3 minutes of your video and dang bro your editing, sound, and drone/camera work is on point, Subscribed for sure. Thank you. This place is beautiful. Congrats on the anniversary you two are adorable. Cheers!
Just up the road in Leander and that spot looks epic! Happy anniversary! Just signed up for your Patreon. Can’t wait to check out this camping spot and follow and grow along with you.
Enjoyed this and congratulations on the 7th Wedding Anniversary. The wife and I have hit our 44th but we are a tad bit older, g. Take care and I've subscribed to your channel ...
I know you can't share the location of this spot with us because the weekend after you do there will be 20 rigs camped out there but son, I can tell you after 23 happy years with my wife is always make them feel special. I see you already figured that out. Sub'd and liked!
That is a beautiful place, me and my wife have been out to Texas hill country with both our tundra and 4Runner, I would definitely love to know whereabouts this place is, is it possible you could lead me in that direction on where that spot is, would love to take my wife there for our anniversary coming up soon, thanks greatly appreciate it
It’s on hipcamp, everything in Texas is gonna be paid camping, there a small spot on the llano river by the James river water crossing I think that everybody loves to camp on too. That’s like the only free spot lol. Unless you drive to a national forest.
What route exactly did you take ive seen other videos of the hill country routes but i like the one you took looks fun cant wait to go this year. Gained a sub with this video🎉
i have the same rack on the back of my titan, what rack tent is that? and is this big bend something bluff? i live in dallas and i have been getting ready for a texas trip
It’s a tuff Stuff overland alpha! I actually have never been to big bend, I always go to New Mexico instead lol more public land and the same drive for me
Congratulations, you've figured out how social media works. Do you always rely on the hard work and research of others to do the work for you? This guy probably spent innumerable hours planning this trip, reaching out to camping sites, land owners, etc and now you want to piggyback on all that for free? Psssh.
What part of hill country is that, I stay at 1604 and potranco and I would love to hit that trail with my tundra. As a sales rep and a retired veteran, I want to find a place like that to get away from everything. Please share location and the process to hit that place.
Where the heck do you find places to overland camp in central Texas? Ever time I try to look for public land I can never find it since like 99% of this state is privately owned.
@@bird289 ya this state was a major bummer for that when I came here. I grew up in the SW so we had public land for days. I miss the public land but I don't miss the SW😂
Happy anniversary, Good video. I wish HEB were everywhere in Texas. Brookshires has the monopoly in the Tyler. Tx area. Super 1 is here too but is owned by Brookshires. They are overpriced and have the worst knockoff ability in the food industry. Their Brookshires brand food is so bad, it's embarrassing to think what some Texans will put in their mouth.
Yo man love the vid. I'm a central TX overlander looking to link up for trips. If you are interested let me know. We're a bit newer to the scene but want to make trips happen.
I have a Patreon account where I list all the places we go and do detailed reviews on them. Just trying to build a community of people that respect the outdoors and a lot of these places are private land. Some of the landowners do not want the info directly on UA-cam for thousands to see. I have to honor that for them
You have to give him 10 bux a month to tell you where its at. I give my info free. Dont even have to subscribe or like. Texas has lots of private lands. Very little public. Ive been to new mexico, arizona and Colorado. But congrats on 7 yrs.

Happy anniversary!
Don’t worry man my wife had to wait five years for her first dance.
Thanks! Haha I feel you , I think the last time I danced was 7 years ago at our wedding lol
I know where you are! You are down the road from where we live in one of the most beautiful areas of Texas. Enjoy! But make people guess! lol!
Yep! You got it lol
Yeah I can, I'll just eat.. lol classic

Amazing video congrats. How can we get access to the camping spot? Thanks in advance
You found a great spot! Can you share where this is located? I live in the Austin area. Happy Anniversary!
Bro, I was stationed at Ft Hood for a few years and HEB made me a believer. You just made me second-home-sick for hill country.
lol yea HEB is hard to beat! Sounds like it’s time to hit the hill country brotha 😎

How long is the entire drive? Is it doable in a day or did you have to stop to camp out for a night?

Planning a trip to Bandera soon. Any suggestions for remote camping and trails?
Cool video…keep it up
Thanks!
where about in Texas is that? And I like your set up on your tundra. Looking into getting one soon.
Please share where did you start on the trails to end? Thanks
Great camping spot. Were looking to do that trail next month. Happen to have coordinates to that camp spot?
What trail is this
Cool video! Where can I find info about the route / how to camp there?! (without making me sign up for Patreon LOL)
what trail was this??? looks like a ton of fun. My Fiance and I have been looking for a good place to take her jeep and my tacoma

I liked the first camping spot looking out over the rocky landscape. What public land is this? We only have a small % of PL in Texas.
Nice spot! Private land?? I’ve looked a lot and not aware of anything public like this in Texas at all, especially hill country region.
Yep unfortunately Texas is the worst state when it comes to public land. This was on private land that you can pay camp on.
Do you have any links or contacts to this? We live in the hill country and would love this
@@davidwiley367 lots of people like to keep these places on The Down Low and don't like sharing.
Where is this located?
Thats what i was wondering too? I own a place outside of Hunt Tx and have a House in Fredericksburg. Would love to know where this is?

@gregtoth4497 thanks for this reply my man, people don’t get it. These trips take a lot of planning and prep work, editing and time! Cheers 🍻

I'm asking the same question
He said he has to pay to camp there, my guess is it's private. I'm in Texas too so I feel your pain lol
@@bird289 ya this state was a major bummer for that when I came here. I grew up in the SW so we had public land for days. I miss the public land but I don't miss the SW😂
@bird289 yea it’s a paid spot , Texas sucks! That’s why I’m always in New Mexico lol
I'm guessing it's a state park, look at tpwd.texas.gov to find a park and make reservations
Could you share your route? Maybe a GPX file we can drop in our GPS app? Greatly appreciate!
How did you find that spot? App or?
