I would go to an auto parts store and buy a mixed assortment of springs (I think they are for carbonators). If you can find a way to attach them, you can try different strengths and lengths to find one you like. A spring would hold up much longer.

It came with a couple of springs that work. It slid off the screw on the nub, so I put a nut on it and tried the rubber bands instead. When I went back to switch to the spring, it didn’t slide over the nut, and it’s kind of a pain to get to, so I settled for the rubber bands for now. I agree the spring will last longer.

Got to say love your channel. You gave me alot of input on veckmens pack which saves me alot of time researching. I'm planning on building a veckmen hybrid pack using the gb2 as the foundation and then adding TVG look as far as installing the extra ribs on the side were the gun goes, HGA end cap will be replace with the led plus the led bars by the v hook. Ecig vaping and still working out a plan on bumper eject. Also a lil of afterlife touch too as far as a spinning cycletron leds vs pattern tradition, the yellow sleeve tube and a functioning switch under the ion. Not doing the ground wires, wire clamps, or other things that the Spangler pack haves. I wanna have a what if Peter had upgrades too but without the look of abuse that Egon pack presents. Anyways my concern on this video is I see you did well to keep the wires away from the eject tube but the wires sitting on top that feeds out and under the hand grip doesn't look safe. Imagine the constant back and forth rubbing on them wires eventually is gunna cut the insulation exposing bare wire. You should put heatshrink over them wires to protect them. Other then that you done a great job and hopefully I can get to that point as well. Got one question? Where did you get the full aluminum wand at? Cause I've been look! Only wand that I seen that's worth it is a half resin half aluminum is with throughing chicken

Hey buddy, I just did the pop mech on my Thrower the other day and I have the same aluminum Thrower as you. I have a part that will make it flawless and bought a sping from Lowe's that came as a two pack. Do you have any time this week for a 5min Skype call? I can show you how to install it and will mail you the spare parts.
