Raga Bhairavi is a traditional indian classical raga performed by Purbayan Chatterjee on sitar and U. Rajhesh on mandolin starts with small alaap vistar in Hindustani and Carnatic Indian classical style. They have performed famous and traditional compositions of their styles. Drut gat by Ustad baba Allauddin Khan sahib and Thillana by Vidwan pt. Lalgudi Jayaraman ji. Satyajit Talwalkar joins them with a mix of Hindustani and Carnatic style of rhythmic cycle Teentaal and Adi Taalam (16 beat and 8 beat cycle) on Tabla.

In Italian, its origin, is called Mandolino, in english it is called Mandolin. In Hindi it maintain its name, carnatic mandolin, a very short like guitar
