In Knight you can also play as the Arkham Knight and shoot people but it still says they are unconscious.

Ginge they made an animated movie about Slade alone. That should be enough. Deathstroke game alone would be sick asf if he had nice stealth takedowns and his signature gadgets.
I think the reason Deathstroke and Batman act as if they know each other in this game is because they know each other by reputation. Batman knows about Slade, because he's the most skilled assassin in the world, and therefore Batman would do his research. Deathstroke, of course, would know of Batman because he's done research on the man he's trying to kill.

Kwing Deathsrtroke does have a healing factor in Arkham origins. When your combat armour is depleted and you get hit if you don't get hit for a while he will heal.
You can break weapons with Deathstroke.

Why would people argue about who's better between Deathstroke and Deadpool? One is a serious mercenary who serves as a villain in stories, the other is a comedic mercenary who serves as a main character and comedy relief in stories. The only thing they have in common is their profession.
And I mean it's not like they both have abilities like healing factors. oh, and they both don't have face deformities. And obviously, they aren't experiments or anything... Oh wait. Yeah they are pretty simillar

Probably not, I mean he is known as the greatest assassin in the DC. Assassins aren't generally a "good guy" role and he's interesting because he's good at what he does. That and villains are generally more interesting in most cases.

Even though joker has a different voice actor instead of mark hamil the voice is spot on and the new guy troy baker is extremely talented. I never would have thought that the same voice actor for ryu hayabusa would be this diverse

I am a super huge Batman fan, and a lot of the things you and your wife talk about in the videos are things that I never knew existed in the DC Universe. Deathstroke vs. Wolverine that would be a cool match to see.
Deathstroke would decimate Wolverine (seing as Deathstroke is much more calm in battle),
BUT he couldn´t kill him due to Wolverine´s regeneration abillity
Deathstroke also has a healing factor like deadpool so if wolverine trys to cut his arm and leg he will still act normal accept he won't be able to walk normal. But he will be still able to fight because he can fight with one hand "obviously".

I don't believe Batman knows Deathstroke or visa versa. Batman knows his name because he pulled up the file on the Bat Computer and Deathstroke will have researched heavily on Batman so, maybe that's what that was all about. But Origins feels uncompleted, the Forth one better explain more Slade or not have him in at all. I'd vote for the former as I LOVE Slade.
Batman always calls his villians by their true names, if he knows their true birth names or so.

Yes i know, but batman dosent seem to call the villians when he speeks to them by their "codenames". He always uses their front name or last names, gives them some sort of hummanity back to them.
I personally just finished the game right now, and I have to say I was pretty dissapointed that Deathstroke went to waste. He was barely in the game so that kinda sucks.
we were hyped to fight him when we found out he was dlc when we got the and forgot to pre order we would go psn store and buy him so it is a shame he did not do much in the story
At least his boss fight is one of the things people remember most about the game once they finish it.
CrimsonMoonM I'll agree it was absurdly fun, but it happened so early in the game which was disappointing. There was an absurd amount of buildup to the character yet he only appeared twice (thrice if you count after the credits). Heck, Fire Fly played a more important role in the game then Deathstroke.

I like Deathstroke a lot he really is the best Assassin. I really expected him to have duel swords in this game :/ Also i dont know why they put Deadshot into Dc,He might be the best sniper but all around Deathstroke is way better so......ya putting him kinda seemed pointless
Yeah, that confused me for a while, because Deathstroke can do everything Deadshot can do and more. He may not be as good a shot but still, Deathstroke is the world's greatest assassin.
deadshot is a dope assassin, my opinion the best unpredictable hitman, but since deathstroke is like a ninja, and the only/1st ninja like mercenary and assassin in dc, he gets a lot of credit, he tops deadshot in so many other ways, but deadshot never misses, he's very slick, his right eye vs slade's left eye, so it's hard to pick favorites
Deathstroke is always up and personal and prefers melee combat
Fin Daily Dead shot is the greatest sharp shooter.
He could out shoot Deathstroke if he wanted

The coolest part about Deathstroke is that when people started to think he was too old for the job he started anonymously hitting assigns to kill him just to prove that he still had it by killing him.

Batman has never beaten Deathstroke with ease, at least not to my knowledge.
Ease in comparison to their first fight in which Death stroke owns Batman thoroughly. Alas somewhere between then and now Batman has over blown to become the Worlds Greatest Martial Artist as well as detective. No longer having trouble fighting the likes of Black Spider, Shiva (he beat her with one hand practically in a superman/batman comic) Deathstroke, heck even white Martians etc. Along with being the worlds greatest Engineer, Geneticist, Ventriloquist, escape artist, Hacker.....etc etc. Believe me the list of his overblown skillset is endless. I don't care what folks say. He is not a normal human. Iron Man is more normal. Tony is a one track genius only limited by current tech of his fictional setting...... (okay, I'm done ranting.)
Michael Rhodd I wouldn't use that Superman/Batman fight scene to prove anything. It was kind of PIS. Also, I don't think it's been stated anywhere that Batman is the world's greatest engineer or geneticist. Honestly, I'd put Tony Stark above Batman. Batman is way more "normal" than he is.

Again, no. To my knowledge as well, batman only beat him once by hitting him from behind (which is more of a sucker punch instead of a win to me) and the other time Slade simply didn't want to fight anymore. They could have more times but those are the only times I read.
Something I noticed is that he does actually have a healing factor, if you let yourself get beat up enough so you're into your health bar then just dodge around for a bit and you regenerate

to clarify at 10:45: Grant Wilson, Slade's first son, was sent on a mission against the Titans that he accepted after Starfire had destroyed his home and drove off his girlfriend during her own fight with alien bounty hunters. He asked the scientists of HIVE to give him his fathers powers and became the first Ravager (all of Wade's children except Jericho have donned this identity at some point, first Grant Wilson then Wade LaFarge [the Wilson children's half-brother], then Rose Wilson). He died on the assignment when his powers became unstable and drained him of his strength. Wade vowed to complete the contract for his son. Then he became an enemy of the Titans.
correction: Wade LaFarge is actually Slade's half-brother (the Wade children's uncle)

actually in Arkham Origins, the creators ( i cant remember who exactly ) said that Batman and Slade know OF each other not that they necessarily KNOW each other. this game was suppose to be their first, in person encounter.
Deadpool is more like a mix of Slade and Joker. But minus the pure evil and more so kill for money.

Super dissapointed that they made deathstroke a glorified robin clone in arkham origins... and i dont care about the whole teen rating, at least do something different with him besides changing an animation or two.
Just FWI Knightwing and everyone else, Batman has never beaten Deathstroke 1v1 on neutral ground. The only times Batman ever beat him were when he had Grayson and Drake helping him, or one other time where he took Deathstroke completely by surprise. But in the old comics, Batman couldn't go toe-to-toe with him, and the New 52 Deathstroke is legitimately metahuman to the point where he actually took Lobo 1v1 and held up pretty well. He even "killed" him later on.

Pete Madrona Most comic book characters are clear copies, this one is the most noticeable. The main reason is because writers and artist have gone back and forth between DC and Marvel over the years. I'm sure you knew Thanos was basically a copy of Darkseid, the guy who created him got hired with Marvel and pretty much put the same character on the table. It's kind of funny how the artists work, lol.

If you pay attention you'll see that dethstroke is robin with a different skin and gadgets. For example when you begin a challenge he sometimes starts of in a standing position with his staff held at his waist both hands on it, head looking down at the floor just like robin does in arkham city.
This is lame.... he's basically just Robin reskinned in this game. Same fighting animations

I really enjoyed the history lesson on Slade, it was very interesting. I didn't really enjoy the constant interrupting when the gal was talking. She was knowledgeable and I wanted to hear what she had to say as well. Otherwise impressive combat combos and critical strikes. I counted 97 combos before having to dodge knife attacks.

I wouldn't say Slade plays exactly like Robin in combat challenges.
He has the staff and general slower attack speed,
but his actual attacks are different,
his takedowns in particular are completely original with one being a Batman-styled multi-takedown that can also slightly damage standing opponents and his second is a move that stuns the enemies around him.
