    Yes. YES. YES! This is what we’ve all been waiting for Boni!!! Nothing I can say in this comment isn’t already known. So I’ll just say thank you sir. I know long form will be more of a commitment and time consuming. But genuinely, thank you.

    I learned my lesson about brake pads. If you buy the cheap ones you are taking a chance. Best to just go with the mid to expensive one.

    It's good to see a mechanic who is so kind and honest. I spend so much time trying to make my customers understand that I'm not here to take advantage; we just want to fix people's cars. Unfortunately, other mechanics make this a difficult job. It's good to see quality people and mechanics working on cars.

    I'm not even into cars but your short vids kept popping up and for some reason I always watch them. You def seem like a good dude and it's good seeing an mechanic that seems genuine & not the type to scam you like most nowadays. I subscribed to your channel & def think it would be smart to put out longer video's that will end up bringing in more income for you because I can watch your vids all day lol

    Great long form content, some bozo was saying that none of the cars were being fixed because you wouldn't show every completed job. As if you can't already assume the cars is being fixed lmao I guess he wanted to see every customer drive off or something.

    Did a 1999 Boxster pads all around (Brembo) and he freaked out saying the brake light came on and he needs pads bad. Brake light was on for 2 days. The sensor had just barely been touched. Had like 30% pads left.

  • @DaroriDerEinzige
    @DaroriDerEinzige 2 місяці тому

    Squeaky brakes come often from vibrations due to various reasons like e.g. the material or simple the back plate is worn out slightly.
    You can put special stuff behind the brake pad and it will stop for roughly 1000 to 2000 km if not until you have to change the pads anyway. You have the same often in old Motorcycles e.g. if you put actually better brake pads on it and they are just too "rough" which then causes vibration due to more friction and more braking force.

    Everything was professional till he didn't use a Torque wrench to Torque the Wheels properly to the Brake Rotor. I've seen Master Mechanics with over 20+ years experience leave wheels loose carelessly because the wheels where not Torqued evenly with a Torque wrench which only likes literally takes 60 seconds

    • @regularpaul8142
      @regularpaul8142 Місяць тому

      He more than likely waited till the wheels was on the ground to actually use the torque wrench. Tires will just spin in the air.

    • @lupavo1738
      @lupavo1738 2 місяці тому

      Also, those are lug “studs” and yes, impact is completely fine.

    • @y3sca530
      @y3sca530 2 місяці тому

      Torque wrench is the only way. Especially if you have a customer who is already dealing with Brake issues. Over torquing the wheels hurts the brake rotor

    • @y3sca530
      @y3sca530 2 місяці тому

      Imagine a wheel bearing being crushed in by using impact on the axle nut? Wheel bearing will fail pre maturely like a warped rotor being sandwiched over and over again by a wheel

    I know this has to do with mostly the brakes on a car but BMWs and anything German made are probably the biggest fucking money pits of a vehicle that anybody could ever buy. They are too complex to work on and parts for the vehicles cost at least 2 to 3 times more than most other car brands. Then on top of that maintenance is also way above average for cost of maintaining these cars. I would buy Subaru or Toyota over anything German made. And then on top of that there’s too many electronic components for these vehicles, which makes them more prone to malfunctioning and they in general just don’t last as long.

    I tried calling your shop multiple times for an estimate. I’m sure your a great mechanic but your front of house needs much improvement. It took me calling the shop like 3 days to get a call back and still didn’t get an estimate until a week later.
