This iceberg is great but you do need to work on or practice or research the pronunciation while you read. You mispronounce many many words which makes it difficult to completely follow what you’re saying. Especially with how fast you read the info. Not tryna come at you but yikes
I really like your videos bro. With that said, the people commenting about how often you mispronounce words arent wrong lol. I cant help but wonder, have you ever heard other people pronounce words in a similar manner? "Scepter" is the first one that comes to mind. The C is silent. Its Sep Ter. Regardless, this was a great video and it definitely earned my sub. I look forward to watching more of your work
have you ever just thought for 2 seconds that english may not be his first language? or he may not have been privileged enough to attend proper education?
@@dargzy yes. That has crossed my mind. And I couldn't help but wonder immediately after that why you would choose to narrate in a language you are not fully fluent in. Regardless, I don't think that's the case. In other videos he will mispronounce a word once, then when using it again he will pronounce it properly. I think it has more to do with him rushing through his script and not wanting to do it all again, especially on the long videos.
I get that but the video is in English and people aren't being rude about. He should fix the errors and re-upload now that he's got more subs @@dargzy
I do think that if you're going to the effort to research these things, and you have enough online knowledge to edit and upload videos... You can also put the word into a search box and listen to the pronunciation.
@@Juno_Verse_ I understand where you are coming from, but I think the problem is, especially with the long videos, is he doesn't realize he will have trouble with the word until he is in the middle of his narration. There's nothing wrong with correcting someone who is incorrect. It's not like he's mispronouncing it due to an accent. He's just pronouncing it incorrectly.
This is surprisingly good, I was expecting a very pedestrian iceberg but you covered it all quite well. Good music choice that isn't too loud or distracting, your editing is solid, I have to say I'm looking forward to everything else you have in store. The only "ancient text" describing vimanas as anything more vehicle-like than the cloud city in Disney's Hercules (the Vaimānika Śāstra, which you showed a picture from) is a 20th-century "channeled" text. The genuine ancient religious texts talk about them being actual floating palaces made of finely painted wood and other such period-accurate palace-y things. In fact, a modern engineering review of the designs in that particular book by the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore tore it a new one, calling them "absurdly non-aerodynamic", "brutalist wedding cakes", and that, according to all known principles of propulsion, their designs would "resist rather assist flying" and that whoever wrote it even made mistakes when referencing the earlier, genuine texts despite high-quality sources having been available for at least 30 years.
The story of the princes in the tower is interesting, and there has actually been a recent discovery! Letters have been found in archives that seem to prove that the two princes survived the Tower of London and were not in fact murdered by their uncle. This has completely turned upside down popular theories about what happened to them.
Watched the whole video without looking at the comments and was fine. If you don't understand what he's saying or trying to say, it's you. Yes, he mispronounced a few words, but at no point did he not get the topic across. Relax on him.
Good video... you need to work ok proper enunciation of words you're unfamiliar with though. Especially if then going to say them like 12 times in the next 2 minutes.
About the shroud of turin - I think that the problem with carbon dating is that the shroud was damaged in fire around 800-900 or so years ago, and back then it was fixed... And probably that "fixed" part of shroud was used for carbon dating, and that's why it showed it being from around 1200 AD. At least that's what i heard.
I applaud your interest in historical mysteries and your desire to make these videos. I would only ask that you please work on your enunciation and your pacing. You sound way too rushed and you mispronounce words to the point where it makes me want to click off of the video. The word scepter is pronounced sep-ter not skeptor. When you conquor these two hurdles, I have no doubt you'll get amazing results. Sorry if I'm coming off as mean or harsh, I promise that is not my intent.
The screaming mummy thing is most likely just a fdge up with the jaw binding. mouths tend to want to fall open on a lying cadaver, even today you use wires to keep the mouth shut in the embalming process. dut the mummy looks terrifying as hell xD
