as i said in another video like this . i bought a Kayak in 2018 took it out 3 times the first year none in 2019 it stayed in storage. i should have bought the canoe which i thought of buying first. so that is what i will buy next.
I have both a 14 ft canoe and kayaks, my canoe weighs a lot and is to long for my pickup trucks bed, my kayaks weigh about forty pounds and I can fit all five in the truck bed.
I've always been really confused about that claim. I can store a multitude of dry bags, cases, airtight crates, all my camping gear, fishing tackle, anchors, rations for two weeks, several gallons of water, whatever else I find useful, and my wife in my canoe (not that I don't find her useful). 😂 But a kayaker can claim they've got superiority in storage? I'm not trying to be terribly mean here, but HOW?
Kayaking is better for those who want adventure, closeness to water and a one man deck sort of atmosphere. Canoe is for those who like sailing the seas with their mates, a canoe is more laid back and can help distance you from the water, just in case you have the irrational fear of falling into the water or fish jumping out and frightening you. So yea
In the words of another canoer I know: "There is a fundamental difference between kayaks and canoes most people don't consider. One requires skill, good sense, and the will to gain the means to fulfill a greater purpose. The other is often sold with a helmet." All in all the expensive flippy canoe crowd is alright with me.
I'm not looking to start an argument, but I truly do not understand the purpose or value of a kayak. I know they're not right for me and entirely useless to me for every reason I own a canoe, but I just want to understand the other side. Again, not trying to be rude, just seeking to understand it is all.
Canoes are awesome

Real men kayak.
I kid. A canoe looks like great fun too.
Real men canoe it’s harder
Wenonah still has 3/27 Jensen designed V-1's @ 18'-6" long two person pro boats(racing canoes). These can be the ultimate tripper @ 30 pounds weight.

Kayak is in my opinion way superior. Mostly with looks, but I also like the closed space it offers as well as the storages.

You can have sex in a canoe. Not so much in a kayak.

Hello guys, nice video. I would like to visit your store or exhibition. Can you tell me where you located, thank you
Question: Nova Craft or We-no-nah in a 16' Prospector?
Canoes were faster than kayaks in floating down rivers. But kayaks won, because all canoes sank and needed a lot work to float again.
They didn't mention sit-on top kayaks
Once you step in a kayak, it's hard to get back in a canoe!
Twin blade? For those who cannot paddle. 😀

Kayak all day! Why? Because you can go places where the canoe can't, plus you can't sink a kayak
Not sure about that. If the kayak bulkheads all filled up with water, you may be able to sink a kayak.
I've sunk 3 kayaks
Who's herr for PE4
why is he nervous
Warrant for paddling to fast in a "No-Wake Zone".😨 LOL!
Canoe is a boat, kayak is a toy.
I mean I guess
