There are many ways to replace a lower control arm. This is mine. Some days I wished I lived in an area free from salt. Check out the rust on this frame.

Absolutely! I tried that during the fast motion video instead of using a hammer. I found that if i had removed both bushing bolts and separated the control arm from the car, then removing the ball joint from the pinch bolt would have been easier. Thats why i shoot these videos, so i make the mistakes and you don't

So on mine, the nut started spinning on the control arm. Now I think I have to cut the drivers side floor board to get access to it.

could you use a chisel on thumper to spread the joint.
