@@kraiggrady I like Boulez as a conductor, very much so, and as a composer, to some extent. Stockhausen, moderately. But the more I dig into Xenakis' works, the more interesting I find him. Still, when I want groove, I'm more into James Brown than Xenakis (with one single n: I shamelessly misspelled his name in my previous post). But, to each their own, and I wish you many hours of merry foot-tapping listening to him. 🙂
@@cyrilbrocard I was a big Stockhausen fan in my 20s but after 50 years, like many of that time it hasn't held its ground for me. Xenakis is one of those who has managed to keep up if not grown for me. Purely subjective on my part, but glad we share some appreciation of him him.
WOW WOW!!! So great!
crying with delight!
thanks for this video ! I'm enjoying it soooo much.
Big badaboum !
Love Xennakis' percussive pieces. More about texture and structure than groove and soul, for sure, but I find them interesting.
plenty of groove and soul for me!
@@kraiggrady Of course: you dance on Xennakis and I'm sure you whistle some Boulez or Stockhausen under the shower, too. 🙂
@@cyrilbrocardsorry to say the latter two haven't held up for me.
