A live performance is not, however, the place to noodle about for over two minutes on a drum kit when the context doesn't really call for it. (and yes, there are contexts where a two minute dru solo is acceptable) Honestly, the horn section not having their shit together bothered me the most. The guitar, bass, and drums seemed to have the best grip on the rhythm and when they should be playing.

The trombones in this particular song are a bit iffy, but that's the beauty of an arrangement. This is Gun's & Roses with their particular flare on it, and that's fine. However, I personally think that the drum solo was a bit shit and overstayed its welcome.
