Everything I think about buying seems to have a review on your channel! This is just impressive in the short time you have been on youtube! Thanks for everything you've done here. I know it's a lot of work behind the scenes.
Yeah I already paid $145 for my avatar radio, I just hate to spend another $165 for another one. Just ordered the highroller smasher and didn’t cost me that much. Well as always appreciate you sharing I would love to have the the radio also just no can-do right now. Catch on the next one until then peace and chicken grease 😁👍👍😎
every video just get better, you are killin it man, i really enjoy watching your stuff, you speak very clearly and always put tons of info in your videos, i am an older guy (42) i was super into RC back in the 90's but it was all traxxas nitro or electric trucks, im getting back into but this time i'm going for crawlers just because i can scale it down and it's easier to just toss my k5 blazer in my camera bag and take it crawling without drawin attention to myself (i'm anti social) anyways, awesome video!
Thank you, I appreciate that! I'm on the same page about being discrete. It's okay when my son is with me, but on my own I prefer the small trucks as well.
Another great video, I'm liking the one hand control.once you see it in action, got to have it. You do a great , honest job on appraising all the new products .your my go to site. 👍
Furitek quality = Furitek price! I am battling with myself -do i need this? No. Am I gonna get it? Maybe. My brain is saying it will free up the stock tx/rx for a new build from all my spares (+another $100....) I like it's compact simple design over the Flysky, and like the idea of having a full Furitek rx/tx/esc/ motor combo... Do I want it? HELL YEAH!
@@CapeCrawlers I love how this hobby is relatively cheap to get into. Upgrading and changing parts is so much fun, and building courses and looking for nice boulders and geology. I've learnt so much since getting my first deadbolt less than 2yrs ago. Awesome community sharing knowledge!
Great video!!! I was wondering if you could use the knob for rear steering... i'm totally getting this set up now for my rear steer rigs!!! Also, your lil guy is awesome!!! "Trying to bring the blazer over for recovery" What an cool lil dude!!!
Very nice! Great review on this! I like this and will be getting it! I know the price is a little up but quality is something I like. Also I want there brushless setup for my Smasher! Thanks for sharing brother! cheers!
while I am happy they came out with the python pro and new 4ws avatar its starting to feel like computer components where as soon as you buy its outdated shortly afterwards. I go through phases with all my rc cars so maybe when I come back around to mini crawlers I'll pick these up. either way great video as usual ❤
I've been waiting and looking for somebody to come out with a knob in that position for 4WS To your knowledge are their any other transmitters with a knob in that location for rear wheel steering? That's absolutely perfect for 4WS!!! I know the Noble NB4 has a wheel in that same position but don't know how well it works for 4WS or if they have micro receivers for it... What do you think?
Yeah dang it it figures there come out with that radio, I already have a avatar. I did just order two sets of there monster truck tires and rims, and another smasher The new highroller from fair RC Yep watching now
Hey Adam - nice work as always… tempting as this Furitek setup is, I’m wondering if you have any thoughts on alternatives from Flysky or Radiolink for a 4WS setup? I’m planning to convert my TRX4m…
Hi, i got the injora steering link set with the plastic ends, but it didn't come with the double ball piece to connect the two rods together & then to the steering knuckle. Do you happen to know where or how to get one? For the life of me, I am unable to find anything... thanks
also, is there a way to add a dig function to a fms k5 blazer? i was kinda day dreaming about adding evertything you'd see on a 1:10th, lil wench, 4 wheel steering, dig, diff locker, do you think all that could fit in there? i wonder what that would be like actually. actually does fms even have a way to lock diffs , i have no idea lol
I have not seen a dig function in the smaller scales personally. I think you could fit in another variable speed servo to run it, just not sure how you would make it work mechanically
Hi there... i have been watching and feeling ALOT of interest in the last few days to get a Premium 1/24 Mini custom/upgraded RC rock crawler 4WS just seeing some of the RC car videos and i specially really enjoy to see yours, just because of the sincere and carismatic way that you fully explain things. Im very inclined to get a Premium custom/upgraded Furitek Cayman Pro with 4WS or a Axial AX24 full Premium custom/upgraded because of their impressive performance, smoothness and tecnical crawling capabilitys specially with Furitek electronics and with this radio, that would be a blast. Im very NOOB to RC cars, but i know that 1/24 Mini rock crawlers normaly dont have/bring a DIG option but is it possible to upgrade it to have a 1/24 size 4WS with a DIG option and still be premium with impressive crawling capabilitys? If yes, do you know if this Furitek Avatar 4WS Radio bring that Dig Option? Im asking this, because if i become addict to this 1/24 Mini Crawler Hobbie, ill buy a 1/9 Axial Capra 4WS Unlimited Trail Buggy and max Premium custom/upgrade the same way and still use this Furitek Avatar 4WS Radio if brings a Dig option. BTW, just keep your excelent RC youtube videos and explanations.
Have you had any experience running the cedar with the avatar rx? I am wanting to go brushless on my 4m as well as rear steer in the future, but haven't fully decided which motor.
Yep! I am currently running the avatar with the Cedar in my slayer build. It works great! I like the ability to tune the throttle curve on the fly with the avatar. The entire system just works really well.
I want to try the Furitek brushless motor and ESC for my TRX4M. Can I use this 4WS controller for my 2 wheel steering car? (Just in case for future upgrades.)
$219 for Canadians. 😥 I wish more companies would do price adjustments for a given country. I've seen a number of companies adjust pricing so Canadians, and other countries, get comparable pricing rather than getting roasted with everything in USD.

Yeah some blazer help, 👍👍😁 Love the paint job on that buddy looking good out there
Looking good with the 4 wheel steering

I have to say I agree with the electronics all being the same. Sometimes we pay for our OCD! Thanks for the info and video.

What first 1/10 scale crawler do you recommend?
SCX10.iii
Be smooth dude. Flow with the rig. True independent 4ws should feel like a snake. Nothing compares
I'm getting there! Way easier when not filming at the same time.

Flysky and Radiolink both work great. The new radiomaster mt12 could be a good option too

Yeah that’s quite the gate 🤣🤣
Do you have to use a Furitek ESC?
Lmao on the price. Just got the rc8x for 250. Receivers are dirt cheap. Love furytek and your channel.
So wat is the tire on the thumbnail 😆?
Ohh good question. That video is coming Sunday!
Would this rear wheel steer controller be a fix for the fms power wagon not being able to shift to high and low with the mini kamoto and tegu 24 pro
Possibly. I would have to look at the radio but you might be able to hook the variable speed servo up to one of the additional buttons or dial
I want to try the Furitek brushless motor and ESC for my TRX4M.
Can I use this 4WS controller for my 2 wheel steering car?
(Just in case for future upgrades.)
Yes you can. You just won't assign that dial (button 3) to any functions until you are ready to do so.
@@CapeCrawlers THANK YOU SO MUCH! Just Ordered !
Would this work on a 1/6 scale 4ws crawler?
That’s a good question. I don’t see a reason why it wouldn’t
