I love golden retrievers! Their great dogs to have. Definitely give your pup some time to adjust and definitely get training as soon as possible once done adjusting. I know I’m a little late on the comment but yeah lol!

It's so weird but our golden retriever has so many of the same characteristic. Roxy is our 2nd golden, our first one, Lucky passed away in 2016 after 12 years. I still miss her so. Roxy and Lucky both loves eating ice and rolling around in the grass just like yours. Even with all the same characteristic both of our dogs still had their own unique personalities which is so funny. I don't know how you can care for two while working and also being on your own. Just one can take up all my time. I will always believe that the Golden Retrievers are gifts from God. I know one day I will again meet up with Lucky our first golden in heaven. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Johnny Rocco this is so sweet. I too had a golden retriever growing up named Duke, he passed away at almost 14. We surely don’t deserve such amazing dogs!

aw my golden's name is Lucky and he's my first golden too! He's just over a year old and we love him so much. He is in loveeee with ice too lol. I never liked dogs, but Lucky definitely has converted me to a dog lover, so I agree that goldens are a gift from God.

I love your videos so much. It's like you just get that they're dogs and you need to let them be dogs. I had a lab recently who used to sleep on my bed cause he was spoiled and we both needed him on the bed to sleep. He had to be on the foot of the bed and leaning against me to sleep and so did I. You videos are so authentic and beautiful.

they roll around after they eat is because the clean their mouth after eating so you might wanna use like a cloth to clean their mouths after😂
Emily I found your UA-cam by accident, and I'm glad that I did. We lost our Great Dane 3 months ago due to a tumor on his spine. We lost our Cocker Spaniel 4 months ago due to fluid in her lungs and chest cavity. She was 16 years old. I live in Memphis, Tn. and we are looking for a Golden Retriever. Could you tell me where you got your beautiful babies from? I think I read that you got them from a breeder in Alabama. My wife said if we get another dog, then we need to get two, so they have someone to play with. Sooo sweet. Keep up the great videos.

Can you tell me what it was like training them both together? I gave one 4 1/2 months and one 8weeks. The 4 month old was perfect no parking followed direction. When the 2nd puppy came all hell broke lose. Stopped with the potty training he was doing well with & started parking misbehaving. One has there own room with irate. The others in the Kicthen. Will it get A lot better when there a few years older? If so what age?

Theresa Peterson although that was just potty training. You still gotta work on house training (so they won’t get into anything while you’re asleep) which took me even longer.
My 15 year old husky just passed away 😢 and I'm planning to get another male husky and a female golden retriever. My 2 favorite breeds 👍😁👍 this video was great to see how the golden will be 👍

What kind of toys and treats do you have for them? We have a 2 year old golden and he likes to grab any little thing that’s on my floor even if I tidy everything he finds something to chew on
SuperSusiehomemaker we have sooooo many toys it’s not even funny. We have a toy basket downstairs and upstairs. Jax and Daisy really like stuffed toys, the crinkle ones or squeaky ones. Even when they rip the stuffing out I let them keep it still. They like squeaky balls and Nyla bones as well!

Courtney Mae i feed Purina dog chow and fed Purina puppy chow when they were puppies. Mixed reviews but I’ve tried the more expensive brands and they didn’t like it. The breeder had them on puppy chow when I got them so I kept them on that.

Sugarbun freeze chew toys for them, ice cubes, and anytime they try to bite you or something they’re not supposed to redirect them to toys

Are you able to visit and see the puppies? A good, reputable breeder should let you see and play with the puppies and the parents. If the parents are a darker color then chances are the pups will be close to that color as well
How often do you walk them daily? Do they need more than 1 walk?

Yes you just have to give it time . Mine was very distant for a couple of months .. he never gave me kisses or greeted me or anything and then I wanna say 4-5 months in he started getting super excited and he realized that I care about him and I wasn’t trying to harm him and I was his new mom . You just gotta give them time . 😊

I have a golden retriever too and she is 3 months. She is somewhat potty trained. She usually does it outside but when she is inside we leave some pads for her. She sometimes uses the pads but other times she kind of misses it. How did u train ur goldens? Any tips, on potty training a golden retriever?
Hey! Idk if you found the answer you were seeking but one way I kept my dog from going inside was that I would take him out every 30 min and ring a bell by the door. Then couple days later I would take him every hour then every two hours and each time when we specifically went out to potty I would ring the bell. Eventually he got the gist and anytime he had to pee he would ring the bell to let me know. I didn't like putting pads down because while he would use them more often than not he would miss or encourage him to pee inside. Good to know that I would only ring the bell for potty. If we were going to play afterwards I would bring him back inside and head outside two min later but not ring the bell. Just so he could tell the difference. Hope this helps

Bratayley Moms not in the summer. It’s way too hot as soon as the sun comes up until the evening.
you cant always. if you have school or work it can be hard to get a good pupper walk in before you have to leave.

Rubí Alcaraz you just have to be consistent! Crate training worked for us. It hasn’t always been this easy though I promise you 😂

Goldens should be groomed every 4-6 weeks but should be brushed everyday

Our Golden will NOT eat unless we either sit with her where her bowl is, or if we take the bowl into the living room where we are. She does not want us to be out of her sight. She also won't go down into the back yard to use the bathroom unless we start down with her, or unless there's a squirrel to chase. Our Golden carries her own leash when we go for walks, or doesn't need one at all, she never runs off. She goes all crazy when we say, or start to say, "Bailey, do you want to go for a walk?" She won't let us even finish. She carries in the mail for us.

I thought these dogs r high maintainable dogs? You only have to walk them once?!?!
It depends on the dog but golden's are perhaps one of the most adaptable/easy-going dogs out there. The biggest high maintenance thing about them is their grooming requirements due to their long double coats. I walk mine 1-2 times a day depending on the weather and she's fine. If we don't go for a walk, we expend her energy through play time.
It would be worring to have a male and female, you don't wanna wake up in the face of 16 puppies. Unless Jax doesn't have thingies. Good Vid BTW
