It was interesting to hear the pilots making their calls to ATC on the passenger PA system. It reminded me of several instances during my career as a controller where the frequency would get blocked by a pilot thinking he's speaking to the passengers. This was annoying and a potential safety issue as we couldn't speak to any other aircraft on the same frequency and they could not communicate with us. That being said it was rather amusing hearing the sarcastic comments from other pilots once the 'PA' had finished. On one occasion I was treated to the whole spiel about the expected weather at the arrival airport, the flying time to the destination (Paphos in Cyprus I think) and even the time difference between there and England. That latter fact would have gone down a storm with the mainly Scottish passengers on board (the aircraft had departed Glasgow) had they heard it rather than me. When he'd finished I told him that it was very interesting but maybe he'd now like to tell the passengers. He responded with a sheepish 'sorry' and presumably had to repeat it all again on the appropriate channel!

I need to see you two go on an adventure where Josh gets snippy with the airline agent, cab driver, etc. and Noel is like “well thank you thank you” and perfectly polite. I love the contrast of you two. My two favs! I could die and go to heaven if I were in the airport and bumped into both of you at the same time, or better yet on the airplane!

I've been on an Embraer 145. I'd say it's still relatively easy to find one here in the US. Now the 737-200 is a different story, and oh my god I want to fly on one!
Come North of the border and fly with Air Inuit! They regularly fly their 737-200’s on flight to Puvirnituq and La Grande Rivière from Montreal! Tickets are a little pricey but it’s high on my aviation bucket list!

Having seen both reviews now, I must say Noel has the best loo review segment, with graphics and intro music. 🇬🇧 Overall a great collaboration and I must call it a draw from Noel 🇬🇧 and Josh 🇩🇪 🇨🇿 🇺🇦 (plus lots of other flags, as Josh seems to find a family link with almost everywhere). I love watching your adventures. Really enjoying that you’re traveling with Josh Cahill now too. The two of you are great and I love the banter. I just came home from Zurich yesterday. I flew on Turkish (because I had flight credits) so I went Zurich to Istanbul on a 737-800. My flight from Istanbul to Miami was on a 787-900. What an amazing plane. That second flight was quite the adventure. We were scheduled to depart at 1:10am and my first flight arrived 40m late. I thought I’d miss the connection….but then IT got delayed until 3:10am. Finally got off the ground around 3:45am but needless to say, it was a long night / morning. I’m sure you’ve had moments like those. FYI, Zurich has the most amazing plane spotting areas and even offer guided plane spotting tours for non passengers. So cool. Continued safe travels to you and Josh.
My God, I think I have the best idea ever! You guys team up together and we will call the new Channel "The Odd Couple" starring Felix Unger & Oscar Madison (your new stage names)! Perfect combination, you will get to 2 million subs in a heart beat! Plus you save money by sharing the same hotel rooms and taxi/ubers too!!!

Hurrah! Noel and Josh together!!!! I have been on many of these African carriers, and I remember the old terminal at Harare. It was dire but full of character- surly security agents, stained linoleum, flickering florescent lights....Stale cheese sandwiches were the only food on offer at one small bar. Ahh the good old days! No cappuccinos to be had for thousands of miles!
And the Oscar for best improvised acting goes to ..... well, why not, both of you! Great to see you collaborate. How about a 3 class report on 1 flight and include Paul Lucas' Winging it ? Or 2-3 different planes on same route eg joburg to lhr

Excellent video Noel and the colaboration with Josh was great. I would like to recommend you a trip in Latin America and my country: Panama. It would be amazing a video onboard Copa Airlines Boeing 737 MAX. And If you want to repeat the experience on a MD80, two Venezuelan airlines (Venezolana and Laser) still use this plane in their filights to Panana City (PTY). Once more, have a nice trip.

How weird is this. I lived in Zimbabwe, (previously Rhodesia) for over 30 years, mostly in Harare and frequented what was then "The Sheraton Hotel", usually drinkinking in the ar and going there for Dinner at what was at the time called the Kubatana. But a lot of the time just go there for a Coffee and chill in the nice surroundings. It as very popular. Not too sure what it is like now, but back in the late 80's and 90's it was extremely luxurious! I flew on Air Zim a few times on the B737/200, B720 and the B767. But I also flew with Air Rhodesia on their old Vickers Viscount! I left Zim in '99. Oh, and did you know that Harare has one of the longest commercial runways at almost 5 km long!
Rutaca Airlines of Venezuela also has a 737-200 in passenger operation. I've flown her many times between Piarco, Trinidad (POS) to Santiago Mariño, Venezuela (PMV). Sadly they have terminated this route.

Zimbabwe has some of the best human resources in Africa, so I understand that desire to make things better.

Venezuela has a few Airlines which use them 1 of them is Avior .
In eastern canada they fly 200C with gravel kits

I wouldn’t say the 145 is that common, the 170/175 though, those are really common.
