Just set up my Hero 8 Black with a preset for your video settings, now I'm using this for my photos as well. I'm capturing the world like Reha! 😎
Love the "lazy man" settings. Any tips on low light filming on the go with the gp8, best settings. Thank you for this awesome vdo.
HDR - High dynamic range is best with 10 bit color depth or better, HDR is able to "represent a much wider contrast, and a larger group of colors". RAW is for those whom have editing software and it captures the best camera information and dynamic range allowing for LUT's to be applied for post processing or self editing. JPEG + RAW gives the user the choice of editing or sending a photo straight off. 4k_60 Fps at 100 Mbs provides video that can produce excellent 1080P for those that prefer it.

Hi - great video, thanks for taking us through the most important settingsd. It looks like the raw file format can only be selected with the Wide lens, not standard (linear) or narrow. Is that right?

Great vid. Why would you tinker with settings if you are shooting as RAW? Can't you override settings using Lightroom or similar?

Whatever lut you selected makes the video look cloudy. Not very clear.

I think the contrast is very low. It may look cloudy, but it looks aesthetically pleasing for me.

ngl, the first frame of this video really makes me question wanting to take any photographic advice from you. looks like you way underexposed your shot and tried to boost the blacks or something.
I mean no offense by this but why do your videos look so faded and washed out? As if there are no colors?
