I wish they would make gears a bit longer (which is really rare to say these days), at least 5th could go to ~ 2,8k (max torque) RPM at 130 km/h. It is consuming a lot on highway :|
To be honest an even longer 5th gear would make the car even slower at highway speeds, above 120 km/h. For me it is a better compromise to have a shorter 5th as long as the engine noise is not to bad. Do you think other modern, small engined, petrol cars do better in terms of consumption at high speeds ?

Not a disaster for sure. What surprised me is that renault claims significantly WORSE time for acceleration compared to 0,9 TCe in pretty much every car the put this 1.0 TCe in. What the hell?!
Absolutely not. I would not worry about that at all. It can very well cruise at that speed for long distances. The only issue is that it accelerates relatively slow above 120 km/h. But from the reliability point of view I would not worry about driving at 130 km/h or even higher.
I want buy captur in few months and thinking between 1.0 and 1.3 but i drive in city only 1 long trip(4000km)across europe every year . Difference between 1.0 and 1.3 is 3000€
Salut ! Am condus versiunea de 1.0 TCe fara GPL. Timp de raspuns bun si putere suficienta pentru oras si extraurban linistit. La viteze de peste 120 km/h devine evidenta nevoia de mai putere si cuplu mai mari. Per total Captur cu 1.0 TCe are un raport pret / performante dinamice bun.
Darei una valutazione complessiva di adeguata. Lasciatemi spiegare. L'auto si sente abbastanza veloce a velocità medio-basse. La risposta del pedale è veloce e questo lo rende abbastanza veloce in condizioni urbane. A velocità più elevate, oltre 120 km / h, puoi sentire che ha solo 100 CV. L'accelerazione è lenta e senti il bisogno di un po 'più di potenza. Quindi, se non guidi molto tempo a velocità superiori a 120-140 km / h, dovrebbe essere più che OK. Il raffinamento del motore / auto non è buono come mi aspetterei. Durante l'accelerazione puoi sentire le vibrazioni nel pedale dell'acceleratore e il rumore che fa è amplificato e modificato dal sistema audio e non sono riuscito a trovare un modo per spegnerlo completamente. Non fraintendetemi. Quest'ultima frase è un feedback oggettivo. Forse altri non sono infastiditi da questo.
Non ho guidato il 2008, ma la nuova Captur è una macchina complessivamente buona per questa classe. Può essere considerata una rivoluzione rispetto alla vecchia Captur in termini di qualità di guida, insonorizzazione e qualità generale dell'abitacolo. Dovresti guidare sia il 2008 che il Captur prima di decidere.
To be honest I did not measure the fuel consumption during the test. Just my subjective evaluation: it seems to fall in line with most recently launched cars with entry level gasoline engines. Meaning at low, urban speeds, you get quite good fuel consumption, 7-8 l/km while at high speeds, highway, you can expect almost the same fuel consumption numbers, 7-9 l/km.

Salut, se vede destul de ok pe ecran mai mare (monitor) si rezolutie 1080p. La 140 km/h consumul instant oscileaza in intervalul 8.4-9 litri / 100 km
