I've read that these pull down to 40 Hz. I always thought that wasn't low enough for realistic bass; but to my ears this sounds full range. Very musical. Impressive.
In most music, there's not much content below 41 Hz, which is open E string (the lowest) on a standard 4-string bass guitar.

@@dlmp70 Yep, that corresponds to the lowest E on a standard piano, too. Five-string bass guitars have another string on the bottom end which extends the range down to low B on a piano, which is something like 30 Hz.
I also thought that about 40Hz, but it is low enough.

Bought my Centurys in ‘73, paired nicely with my Marantz 2215 and Dual turntable. My first “serious” hi-Fi setup.
Late ‘80s they were my backup system in basement, water heater blew and flooded the basement and I tossed the JBLs. Stupid me, I should have restored them given the stupid high prices they command today.😢
Of course I sold my collection of nearly 500 LPs in the early 90s for $2 a pop. Who’d a thunk?🥴
I'm so tempted and I began by looking at the Lintons... wouldn't these stands be too high though, with the 7º tilt on top of their height? Because those stands are waaaay cheaper than the recommended low ones.
