The Dr. seems to be a genuine person but the Teamlease guy is answering diplomatically. Also the point he raised about HR team tondo a regular feedback from the employees so I woukd like to tell the gentleman that this mechanism is already there in place especially in ghe big4 companies butbHR department rather than working in the favour of employees to provide a better workplace they instead act as support team for the management or the revenue generating team by using PIP as a weapon against the employee in throwing them out of the company wherein PIP was brought into the system to enhance to performance of the employee.
*Rules to survive the corporations* Rule no 1 : Never listen to a CEO, Never Ever believe Their lies!!!! Rule no 2 : Remember The HR team is not on your side, always keep your guard up against them!!!!! Rule no 3 : Always keep Written email record of what is going on and the responses of The corporation!!!! Rule no 4 : If you are gonna complain or raise your concerns regarding ANYTHING via email, then keep a exit plan from the corp. cause they will try to fire you!!! Rule no 5 : Just do the work you are getting paid to do, Dont work more Cause you will get nothing for it!!! except for empty words before getting laid off cause the other guy was cheaper!!! Rule no 6 : The most Important, Make a Goddamed UNION or join one!!! The only thing to keep them checked
An HR should be last person to comment on this, unless you want suggestions on next Rangoli competition. Employee surveys , skip levels meetings etc are all fake and used to isolate employees with concerns and choke up their career/salary progress. Its not just freshers, any honest working employee can get burdened with work. There are companies blindly hiring freshers and dumping all the goals and deadlines on 1 or 2 experienced employees in the team. The companies who do this in India will not do the same in their branches in other countries, simply because there are legal and social repercussions. Indian employees are de-humanized by companies and marketed as "cheap resource".
Who is this person you have invited? Not a word on labour laws. Every employer in India must adhere to Labour laws. The working hours and rules around it are very clear. Companies not following them should be punished. Employees should be made aware of their rights.
One thing that we forget is HRs are also employees on the payroll of the company and so naturally they favour the organization not the employee. I once had complained against my lead that I am being micromanaged by her and I am stressed out to the point that I want to resign. The HR told very clearly that he can't do anything about it and so finally I resigned. Right after me my other colleagues who were under the same lead also resigned. It's very important how your manager or lead is in corporate.
"If you love your job, work doesn't feel like work" unfortunately doesnt mean work ISN'T work. Companies that ignore this fact and take advantage of their workers, refuse to comp them for this exploitation, and are then proud of their internal culture are begging to be brought down. I'm convinced that HR specialists who think this is an equal trade off for "productivity" also actually believe that profits can only be made at the expense of human lives. I hope the field reorients itself to focus on humans as humans first and resources second!
It's the toxic work culture in India. A family friend's son joined a firm in Delhi, but had to deal with a racist boss who was also the owner of the company, who was also a total bully and created workplace harassment in addition to exploiting the staff ( more than once they were forced to work till 2 a.m. in the morning without any compensation by way of even a home drop! . Thankfully, he quit because he found another job with good work culture, but God help his other young ex colleagues! BTW, there was no exit interview by HR despite his resignation.
It is essential to prioritize the implementation of a nationwide hourly wage system initially, as other solutions hold comparatively lesser significance.
Why are companies not even thinking of doubling up their work force instead of doubling up the work hours, it only aids to help increase the salaries of the CEO's and the management.
Then the last resort for the survival of the employees is to form trade unions which is presently discouraged in the private sector to retain the profits by the corporates
Loved how that CEO dodged the unionization question. Seriously guys, why a CEO? You could've brought in a Union leader for better perspectives. 4 day work week will improve work-life balance & employment becuz employers will have to hire more people to fill in the gaps. But ofcourse he won't mention that becuz it'll hurt his own pocket.

Why is an HR consultant weighing in on the sad death? Get psychologists and medical practitioners. Not the ones who enable company policies.
IKR it was narayana murtti who said "Indians should work more 'Productive' like 70 hours per week"
@@SNaushadS I totally agree with you
This HR is saying if u are stressed it’s your fault.
Class interest, they're same when presented with similar conditions. Only difference is they're pretending to be good guys here
These consulting firms are real hell on earth

@@AT-nn9dd So true. One more point is to mind your own business and to reject extra work for the sake of the team members
Productivity is not working for longer hours, it’s doing our work efficiently without wasting time.

the management should be forced to resign
HRs should not comment on this.
Totally!!, ig i will put a dislike for that
