this game deserves a remake. No other tekken has such excellent soundtrack- especially Kazuya's theme. I'd be still playing it if the controls weren't so unresponsive and getting up from the ground didn't take so long. They also made a major mistake- after unblocking all characters they should have make all subbosses appear at random in arcade mode.

I used to play competitively in 2-5 with Nina, I play Tekken 7 more casually due to the newer mechanics and I've only been playing for a year. Tekken 2 is an awesome game. I've been revisiting it recently, an omfg the damage lol Nina's chain throws leave you with 20% health and her hunting swan could kill you on the spot. The good old days lol. I just remember Nina not having any real terrible matchups in 2. I only play her. At least locally where I competed (locally) this was the tier list we had if I remember. Nina was a powerhouse, so was Anna, and Kazuya was godlike. I remember the only matchups I had trouble with were Kaz and Anna. Ppl would try to pick King on me alot so I got used to shutting him down easily. I completed most in 3 and 5. Life got rough, I got *really* good at Tekken Revolution (played 6 and DR but not competitively) but was high too much. Now I'm playing 7 and Nina is more complex than ever lol. Got all the way up to red rank (basically purple) and my tag got deleted lol. FML. Thank you for the good memories!
