      How's your progress now? I tried to start weightlifting but actually slightly injured my shoulder doing a 40kg clean and jerk with shit form lol, and just like you my max snatch was 25kg.

    +clarence0 Your technique of paused squatting is very impressive and I do see the benefits. I also observe though that the butt is raising first on the way up, putting a large load on the lower back before it is compensated by the legs. I´d be very interested in your point on this. Wrong interpretation/observance from my side?

      He uses his glutes & hams to initiate the movement instead of quads...anyway that's my opinion I'm no weightlifting expert

      He does it because he had surgery on his knees, and still has pain in them. Doing so reduces shearing forces and weight on the knees when he comes out of the hole.
